Top Rank probably still won't make a unification with Norman, just have him beat up on foreigners.

The tale of Rolly Romero, "2 division champion"
-Faces Jackson Marinez for the vacant WBA interim lightweight belt, gets his ass whooped, judges hand him a win anyway

-Faces Gervonta Davis for the WBA secondary belt, gets knocked out

-Immediately receives a shot at the vacant WBA super lightweight title against old man Barroso, is handed a gift stoppage in a fight he was losing

-Faces Isaac Cruz in his first title defense, gets knocked out

-Wins a comeback fight against a handpicked opponent at 140

-Immediately gets a vacant WBA secondary welterweight title shot against Ryan Garcia even though neither has ever fought at welterweight and Garcia is coming off a failed PED test and a no-contest

-Gets upgraded from WBA secondary to full WBA welterweight champion without taking another fight

This man's entire career has been manufactured by the WBA. He's not even good, let alone a champion.

They're gonna sell this belt to Manny, Rolly is even worse than Barrios

“It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” — from Macbeth, by William Shakespeare. The quote can easily describe Rolly’s career. He’s easily one of the least-skilled “champions” I’ve ever seen. By far his two best attributes are his mouth and his heart. Romero has somehow talked himself into notoriety. And I’ve got to hand it to him, he tries despite all odds to actually fight in the ring. A very lucky guy, but he’s admittedly made some of his own luck.

WBA ran out of guys named Pulev to give belts to, apparently.
