  • Who has had the better pro career: Lomachenko or Usyk?

    How do you see it?

Is is tough to decide or is it fairly one sided?

Obviously Usyk..... this isn't even close

Loma kind of under performed to what his hype was to be honest...i think he started too late

Lol Usyk x infinity...Lomachenko couldn't even become undisputed champion in one weight class whereas Usyk has already done it in two. He's never been dropped or lost either unlike Lomachenko.

There's a reason why people are comparing him to the GOAT Muhammad Ali.

Usyk vs world title winning opposition:
        11-0

Lomachenko vs world title winning opposition (not counting WBA secondary):
        9-3

        World titles won by Usyk:
WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, Ring, TBRB, lineal cruiserweight
WBA, WBC, IBF(x2), WBO, Ring, TBRB, lineal heavyweight

        World titles won by Lomachenko:
        WBO featherweight
        WBO super featherweight
        WBA, WBO, Ring lightweight
        IBF lightweight

Not particularly close in my opinion. Lomachenko won belts, Usyk cleaned out two divisions entirely.

usyk is able to handle bigger men loma could not beat them decisively or at all but he put in a good effort pretty much all the time apart from parts of the teo fight loma gets a lot of hate but he was very good on his day

He was never undisputed but did win titles in 3 different weight classes.

Loma was great. He won world titles in 3 weight classes against solid opposition. But, I think the promotional machine behind him also helped elevate his stature. Usyk didn't have that imo. He went to enemy territory to get some of his big wins. Usyk has had to fight a lot harder to get to where he is today. Not only that, but he took out Fury and Joshua twice!! Two of the biggest names at heavyweight during this past era. Remember when those were the two top guys and you had guys like Usyk and Ruiz name named as trojan horses? Well, Usyk was the trojan horse and completely took those guys out of their spots and completely messed up their egos. Respect to Loma, but I do believe Usyk has the better career and legacy.

Usyk and I don’t think it’s really even a discussion.

Loma’s career was messed up by Arum. For example he could’ve unified at FW by beating Nicholas Walters when they were the clear 2 best FW’s in the world.

Instead Arum sat Walters for a year and Loma ended up beating him at 130 which meant little in terms of history.

Usyk, ad mentioned above, cleaned out 2 divisions by defeating the best men in both.

What? Lmao..... Nobody would fight him and the whole world knows he beat Haney. Salido would never fight him again and almost got stopped weighing probably 20 pounds heavier on fight night. Don't get me started on Lopez. These guys manipulated everything they could to stay away from.

He was the most feared fighter. You guys are into the culture wayyy to heavy.
