So he cherrypicked somebody from three divisions below that doesn't have one elite fighter on his resume?
Make it make sense Alvared.
This is the perfect opponent for Alvarez, someone he's favored to beat. He just doesn't realize that pointing it out doesn't look good for him in his quest to be the goat Mexican boxer.
He's RIGHT...Spence is the only elite fighter Crawford has ever faced whereas Burns & Postol are nothing special at all.
Meanwhile, Canelo has faced GGG (thrice), Bivol, Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley & Kovalev who are all elite fighters.
The drunken Kovi elite ???
The Mosley who already had 7 defeats and a draw to the elite Sergio Mora ???
The Cotto who was shopworn and retired with a loss two fights later to the elite Sadat Ali ???
C’mon brother the two elite he faced ( Floyd and Bivol ) actually beat him
Throw in the first fight with GGG which imo he lost

No, he didn't cherry pick the fight, he's on record saying he wasn't interested, but Bud begged for the fight and Turki is paying Ginger $120-150 million for the fight. Make's sense to any logical thinker that he would accept that offer...
I personally think that Turki should have offered Ginger that amount to fight Benavidez.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he did offer him that for Benny but you can’t drag the horse to the well obviously
So what’s the next best money grab et voila
