He's RIGHT...Spence is the only elite fighter Crawford has ever faced whereas Burns & Postol are nothing special at all.

Meanwhile, Canelo has faced GGG (thrice), Bivol, Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley & Kovalev who are all elite fighters.

TC is one of my favorite fighters, but I agree the competition wasn't full of elite names. But he gets rid of most of them by stoppage which is all I can ask for.

Also, Canelo is coming off a very poor performance relative to himself. He looked shockingly slow.

I like Crawford I think he's a great fighter and has done well to achieve what he has, no easy feat.

But I do find this weird hyping up of Ricky Burns from him and his fans as totally comical. Someone said yesterday that he'll get inducted into the Hall Of Fame I'd be totally gob smacked if he get's on the ballot.

He really had the gall to sit in front of Canelo and Dana White and whoever else and deem Ricky Burns an "elite" fighter Ricky Burns.....

I remember when Ricky Burns got beaten up multiple times at British Level. The idea of him ever being at world level was a laugh and fair play to him he massively over achieved in his career to pick up world title trinkets but this notion that he's elite due to the fact he's a "3 weight world champion" on paper is just comical on all levels. He held titles in 3 weights, was never the man at any of them. No different from Adrien Broner being a "4 weight champion"

His resume is extremely thin and unimpressive. What did Ricky Burns do to ever be deemed "elite"? The guy literally had a second job at Sports Direct for the majority of his career He's so far from elite it's ridiculous.

If that is the win that Crawford is pulling out his hat when asked to name his elite victories then he's got some problems.
