I'm just glad we have gotten to watch three fighters who are at that level that they can basically be interchangeable and have all managed to go undisputed in 2 divisions. Each has a unique claim to fame, in the case of Inoue and Usyk, I think unmatched historically. I think Inoue may have faced more ranked opponents as a percentage of his career than any other fighter in history, while I think Usyk has won more titles on the road in enemy territory than any other fighter in history.

I wonder if Canelo will get back on the Mexican beef for Crawford. He's right that it's basically a no-win fight for him. If he wins, he's supposed to, because he's the bigger guy. If he doesn't, he loses to a smaller guy and the titles split again when Crawford retires immediately after. If it's a boring fight like the Scull fight, his brand loses value too. If he wants to come out of it with more of a win than the payday, he needs to stop Crawford decisively, and he's not stopping anyone decisively, and hasn't for years.

Personally for me, the biggest issue with Crawford I have is not his quality/lack of his opponents but simply down to the fact that he's friggin SOOOOOOOO inactive. Not even an injury but going for just one fight a year for like 6 or 7 years now despite having a belt. You can say he's old so blah blah but he's been like that since he was like 30.

The Madrimov fight in hindsight was the worst effect on the division as after he won a close fight in his only fight at 154, he sits on it with zero willingness to defend it and yet doesn't want to vacate it while knowing he ain't doing anything with it ever again. By the time they finally strip Crawford it will probably be like 2+ years since the belt was fought for.

        - - Nobody but his mom, BoMac, and Turki care about Craw who sorta like a pet rattlesnake for them.

If that were an accomplishment that you could fake and cherrypick your way to, there would be more than nine men in the history of boxing to accomplish the feat.
And by his own admission, has yet to beat a single Hall of Fame level fighter.

So vain. Anyways he fights only once a year. And that one time, he barely beat a no name named Madrimov. That's why.
Spot on! Any fighter who's obsessing about his P4P rating is obviously insecure and knows they're not quite as high on the list as they profess to be.

Errol Spence Jr dethroned the reigning IBF, WBC, and WBA welterweight champions in succession and has only lost to Crawford.

Ricky Burns won the WBO 130 title and made 3 successful defenses, moved up and won the WBO 135 title and lost on the 5th defense to Crawford, then moved up and won the WBA 140 title and lost on the second defense in a unification.

Amir Khan was a unified champion and has wins over world titlists Gairy St. Clair, Marco Antonio Barrera, Andreas Kotelnik, Paulie Malinaggi, Marcos Maidana, Zab Judah, Julio Diaz, Luis Collazo, Devon Alexander, Chris Algieri, and Billy Dib.

I would bet any amount of money that at least one of Spence, Burns, and/or Khan gets into the Hall of Fame. Maybe even all three.

Beterbiev and Bivol are both 1 division undisputed and lineal world champions while the other three are all 2 division undisputed and 2 (or even 3 in the case of Crawford) division lineal. While Crawford and Inoue have both won belts in 4 weight classes, and Inoue has wins in 5 weight classes.

Obviously there aren't as many divisions for Bivol and Beterbiev to move through starting at 175, but even Usyk has managed 2 and he started at cruiser.
the jump from 175 to cruiser flies over my head

25 pound weight class move is BUFF

Another weight class could fit between 175 and cruiser it used to be 190

Artur buff big boy, but Bivol FNW 185 has beat many bigger men

TBud PROLONGED his career by being a one a year guy for the prior half decade

5 additional wins on his record would have seen him ahead Naoya. 147 gets more attention than the dwarf classes < 126

crawford beat khan when he was completely crap and wasnt even ranked. Not to mention at ww where he didn't do much. That's like saying Enzo maccaroni beat a hall of fame fighter in Roy Jones. It's technically true...spence is a top level win no doubt, burns is a pretty good win but lumping Khan in hurts the credibility.

Nobody said Khan was in his prime or in his best weight. The question was whether or not Crawford had beaten anyone who will end up in the HOF. And the answer is he probably beat 3 guys that will end up in the HOF.

Most HOF fighters that took losses took most of said losses when they weren't in their primes. That's just how it works.
