    Three division lineal world champion.

If that were an accomplishment that you could fake and cherrypick your way to, there would be more than nine men in the history of boxing to accomplish the feat.

135: Ray Beltran - coming off a robbery draw against previous #1 Ricky Burns in a fight everyone agreed Beltran won; Beltran would win his next 6 fights after the Crawford loss to pick up the WBO 135 strap, while Burns would eventually move up to 140 and win another belt.

140: Viktor Postol - 28-0, reigning WBC titlist, consensus #1 with wins over Matthysse, Corley, Aydin, Lundy, Mendy, etc.

147: Errol Spence Jr. - 28-0, reigning WBA/WBC/IBF titlist, consensus #1 with wins over Ugas, Garcia, Garcia, Porter, Peterson, Brook, Algieri, etc.

Neither of them has the depth of opposition that Crawford, Inoue, or Usyk do and they've also both been in the same weight division their whole careers.

I'm not going to go all the way through the rankings archives so I'll be lazy and just use world title opposition for them, but (again ignoring secondary and interim belts)

          Beterbiev vs world title winners:
W vs Tavoris Cloud KO 2
W vs Gabriel Campillo KO 4
W vs Oleksandr Gvozdyk TKO 10
W vs Joe Smith Jr. TKO 2
W vs Callum Smith TKO 7
W vs Dmitrii Bivol MD 12
L vs Dmitrii Bivol MD 12

          Bivol vs world title winners:
W vs Jean Pascal UD 12
W vs Joe Smith Jr. UD 12
W vs Canelo Alvarez UD 12
W vs Gilberto Ramirez UD 12
L vs Artur Beterbiev MD 12
W vs Artur Beterbiev MD 12

Beterbiev is 6-1 at the world title level and Bivol is 5-1. Compare that to 15-0 for Inoue, 11-0 for Crawford, and 10-0 for Usyk.

Beterbiev and Bivol are both 1 division undisputed and lineal world champions while the other three are all 2 division undisputed and 2 (or even 3 in the case of Crawford) division lineal. While Crawford and Inoue have both won belts in 4 weight classes, and Inoue has wins in 5 weight classes.

Obviously there aren't as many divisions for Bivol and Beterbiev to move through starting at 175, but even Usyk has managed 2 and he started at cruiser.

Beterbiev and Bivol are very obviously elite fighters but their resumes simply don't go as deep as the top 3 guys.

I think on most peoples list Bud secures 3rd and Usyk and Inoue rotate between 1 and 2 dependent on opinion. Usyk i think at present keeps 1 he is fighting guys 40+ lbs bigger and taking their belts then beating them again

Eye test is more fake. There is a tendency to look fantastic against bums, and try cheat system to benefit yourself

Usyk is #1. His resume stands alone.

                    Crawford and Inoue are interchangeable.

Wilder failed eye tests, and didn't take risks and his resume not too good too. So not looking good for wilder.
