Canelo is a totally basic fighter these days, plods forward and bowls the right hand over if he can get their back touching the ropes. That's literally all he does.

He's so one dimensional now, and Crawford is a more skilled fighter than Usyk.
There’s no such thing as “one dimensional” if Canelo already showed multiple dimensions. Casuals think Canelo’s run at 168-175 has been easy… so what is it? One dimensional just wasn’t good enough for a 175 Bivol? We are talking about the current Undisputed Champ in Bivol couldn’t knock down or hurt Canelo for a kill because one dimensions is difficult?

reality check, Crawford doesn’t hit as hard as Bivol. If anything Bud’s current power is that of Danny Jacobs at 160. Canelo already been in that type of fire. Canelo went defensive slickster against Jacobs too.

It wouldn't surprise me at all Canelo is shot to bits and its been masqued by him fighting bums.
He doesn't jab his way in, totally neglected his head movement, his stamina is worse than ever. All he does is plod forward winging two horribly telegraphed punches over and over, just spams the overhand right and some **** ugly left hook where he brings his chin up.
Everything has gotten considerably worse the only thing I think remains intact is his punch resistance.

Crawford is and always has been a hell of a lot bigger than people realise plus moving up at an advanced age almost always serves a fighter well.

Canelo has a punchers chance mainly due to a natural size advantage, that is it and considering there is no set up with any shots he throws and they're all horribly telegraphed and his workrate is practically non existent these days I'd strongly suspect it was slim.

My one concern about Bud is that he eats too many right hand punches; Especially as a Southpaw. Also, Alvarez is very hard to hit. Unless you are a counter puncher.

For this fight I hope he reverts back to orthodox righty. He doesn’t want to taste too many of Canelo’s right hands as he did in his previous fight with Madrimov.

Likewise, he needs to land the uppercut and clinch. Whenever, he is pinned along the ropes or whenever Alvarez gets inside.

I say that because Canelo will attempt to walk him down.

crawford is fighting a shopworn 35 year old canelo who himself is a natural light middleweight. If it would be a big upset then how come many experts are picking crawford to win?

If Crawford was not an overrated fighter himself yes but in the last fight he struggled with a Soviet bum so I still pick old Nelo with a comfortable points win same type fight as against Charlo.

People must calm down. Crawford is almost retired 38 old fighter who once fought at 154.

He doesn`t bring anything Canelo hasn`t seen before.

The main quetsion remains how will Crawford take Canelo`s punch. Canelo punches much harder than anybody Bud has fought before.

real raw real raw likes this.

I do think Crawford will run just as fast as Scull in this fight with the Mexican superstar, which will be unfortunate considering the huge amount of money he's getting.
