Bud might run, but he's too old to run as fast and as long as Scull did...

Canelo is well on the slide and bud is more skilled and is a bad style matchup for him

I told people back in the day Usyk would have a VERY good chance vs Fury and Joshua for the same reasons and the only argument people had was "size"

If all you have is size and the opponent has basically every skill advantage and hasn't shown vulnerability, that isn't much to bank on

Bud winning wouldn't shock me at all.
I think Canelo has more than just size. Crawford may, (MAY) have the slimist margin is skill(s), certainly not enough to overcome the size difference (IMO)

Canelo is a totally basic fighter these days, plods forward and bowls the right hand over if he can get their back touching the ropes. That's literally all he does.

He's so one dimensional now, and Crawford is a more skilled fighter than Usyk.
Canelo does just enough to win ....these days. That doesn't mean he isnt capable of stepping on the gas.

If Canelo is a natural light middleweight, I guess that makes Crawford a natural lightweight.

Bivol scared the balls off canelo. His competition since then has been utterly laughable. They have all been cherry picks since he could have fought benavidez but decided to avoid him.

40 year old ggg moving up in Weight

ryder who should have lost to Jacobs then lost to mungia after canelo

jermell Charlo moving up 2 divisions

munguia who should have lost to dervy, then got kod by a light punching Frenchman moving up in weight after canelo

            berlanga never beat anyone

            Scull after scull robbed shishkin

None of those guys beat anyone good at 168 except ryder when he was robbed agaisnt Smith but that was 4 years before canelo and was clearly a kambosos Lopez type of deal.

              Canelo is hardly natural

Go away with that sh.it how is Crawford as big as Canelo.

Canelo must cut the leg off to make 154 now.

Using your logic Canelo will be fighting a 38 year old natural lightweight.

Also, name and list the "many experts" that are picking Crawford. Would love to see it.

Just take a look at the odds. Canelo is 1/2. The bookies aren't ******. They know canelo could lose this fight.

Canelo Alvarez is definitively the favourite to win 'Overall Alvarez does have a superior boxing resume to Terrence Crawford, and he is more experience fighting at 168 pounds. Of course because he is the Undisputed Super Middle Weight Champion. Naturally all the evidence suggest that Alvarez should win this fight, whether that be over the distance or by knockout'.

But? What is keeping Terrence Crawford in this fight for me 'Is that there is a great unknown about his conditioning at 168 pounds. Most people within the boxing community can all agree, that skill for skill technically Crawford is most likely the marginally better fighter than Canelo Alvarez. The main challenge for Crawford against Alvarez is not skill based, it is purely physiological. Can Terrene Crawford negate and compete with the raw power and brute strength of Alvarez, that is the determining factor which will highly influence the fight for Crawford'.

Note: Terrence Crawford throughout his entire career has been one of those modern day fighters 'Who have extensively weight drained themselves. Crawford has stated that he at times walks around at 180 + pounds, in-between his fights. I don't think Alvarez is a giant at 168 pounds, and Crawford really when he competes at Super Middle Weight will be closer to his natural weight. This is in my opinion going to have a positive effect on Terrence Crawford, during the preparation for the fight'.

Terrence Crawford is potentially going to be the most well prepared and strongest version of himself 'That he has been for many years vs Canelo Alvarez. Crawford will not be weight drained, and nobody really knows for sure the level to which this is going to affect his performance. If Crawford can withstand the power and brute strength of Alvarez, then I think he has the ability to win rounds in this fight. And that is why I give him a definitive chance of winning, but in no way is he the favourite'.

To conclude: Canelo Alvarez has fought better fighters than Terrence Crawford in his career win or lose 'Floyd Mayweather, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto. I honest think all of those three fighters at their peak, are better than Terrence Crawford skill for skill. Alvarez was competing in the latter part of an all-time great welter weight boxing era, Terrence Crawford's welter weight era which he has dominated and became the Undisputed Champion, was not really a great boxing era in terms of pure ability and talent'.

If Terrence Crawford beats Canelo Alvarez it will be a mega win 'He is not the favourite. But it is not impossible for me to envision him winning, Crawford has too much skill to be dismissed in this match up' etc.
