Opetaia sought out the absolute softest, most untested challenger he could pick without getting stripped. You can try to dress it up any other way you want but that's the reality of what happened.
Sure, sure. You're not wrong, although Squeo is a qualified contender according to the IBF.
My point was simply that as a IBF champion, his hands are kinda tied, because boxing is run......******ly.

My friend. You want a head scratcher? Check out the newly released WBA Heavyweight ratings.
how messed up is that???? Wow.

If it were one time you'd happily give the kid a pass. But besides Briedis twice, his level of competition has been nothing short of pathetic and each of his last three fights were a straight up can.

Jai's problem is he's signed to Fast Eddie who Turki doesnt seem to have much time or money for these days.

While Eddie doesn't seem to have much money to put on big fights having burnt through DAZN's.

As for Jai killing time crushing cand til the other strap holders grow a pair and settle on prizemoney...meh!

Hmm, I wonder who's ducking the smoke?

I give Opetaia full credit for his two grueling wins over Briedis. But that's two fights out of 26.

Hell, I might even pick Opetaia to beat Zurdo. But first he'd have to take the fight.
I like Opetaia, but that is a very damning point you have made. Jai seems to be the one with something to prove.

watching the fight it looked like jai was carrying him and could of ended it any time he wanted he just chose the 5th round
im a big fan but he really needs to step it up a bit. its a bit of a shallow division though
