Jai has ELITE attributes...it's rare to see a Cruiserweight who's that athletic/explosive and has the speed and power to match in addition to an elite amateur background. However, I agree with the critics that he needs to up his game and start fighting better opposition and his fights are starting to resemble a school bully beating the shit out of a 6 grader.

Jai needs to better his jab. He'd be hard to beat at cruiser with a jab that regularly lands

Bivol being effective at cruiserweight would be the only REAL challenge for Parker's Cousin BUFF GUY JAI.

Cruiser is a buncha oversized white guys who aren't skilled nor big enough to be effective heavies

Zurdo is the stereotypical tough but slow Mexican

            Bivol 8-4 Jai

            battle of the pendulums

True he doesn't jab much but his straight left hand, right hook and uppercuts are right up there with the best in the business. I think he steamrolls everybody else at Cruiserweight bar Zurdo who would give him a close fight. However, given that Bivol survived 24 rounds with Beterbiev, I think he could handle Opetaia's power and would probably outbox him.

Parker's Cousin Jai is EXPLOSIVE puncher. Tiger Paw Artur is clubbing power that lacks acceleration per Gvozdyk. Jai can one shot them while Artur literally has to break them down

I believe Artur AND Joe Smith Jr are heavier handed than Jai

Buff Guy Jai favorite shot is his straight left to the body

Once it's established he then mixes the left up into a straight to the head or an overhand left. Juggling these 3 shots confuses the opponent

At close quarters he loves his southpaw right hook and will shift stances off of a left to turn his right into an orthy overhand making him unpredictable.

He's quite vulnerable to rights through the middle and has been stumbled by a left hook in the past also

Jai has looked amazing thus far the gap in athleticism between him and his opponents have been huge.

Bivol's jabbing, 1-2-3, and 1-2B-1-4 should see him to a decision win over Parker's Cousin Buff Guy Jai

Jai is the barroom brawl street version of Usyk

instead of a great jab Jai gets to have explosive punching power

Either Opetaia doesn't want the smoke or his handlers don't believe he can beat Zurdo or his handlers are saving him for a hopeful Usyk/Bivol cashout.

Zurdo lined up Bivol, Smith, Goulamirian, Billam-Smith, and now Dorticos consecutively. It's obvious he's not the hold up, he's stacking risky fight on top of risky fight while Opetaia crushes cans.
I am not posturing. All I am saying is "I don't know" because I am not privy to any inside information. You are the one who is posturing and pretending that your subjective opinion and guesswork is the absolute, objective truth seen by "the rest of us". Who are the "rest of us" who can see this "truth"? How can you prove your "truth"? How on earth do you know what I see in my mind?

Talk about being deluded and believing you are the only one who knows the truth and everybody else is ignorant. All you are sharing is what you believe to be true, but the problem is as soon as you say "I believe" it is the same as saying "I don't know".

You're the type of person who needs things explicitly spelled out, others are capable of basic inferences and deduction. I don't need to physically see the sun appear on the horizon to know it rose this morning. I can see it in the sky and understand how it got there. You're staring at it saying you can't tell for sure how it got there because you didn't see the sunrise.

Lol where the F do you come up with these nicknames? Opetaia has very fast hands and feet (for a Cruiserweight) allowing him to get in and out of range quickly and detonate a bomb or two be it the straight left, right hook or some well timed uppercuts. He also has an 80% KO ratio and Breidis is the only man to go the full distance with him (twice) since 2019.

Nobody knows for certain how a potential fight between him and Bivol would play out but the latter's already proven he possesses an IRON CHIN having survived 24 rounds with Beterbiev. Therefore, you'd have to give him the edge because of his superior fight IQ and experience. I actually think Opetaia vs. Beterbiev would be a much more entertaining fight as Breidis was able to break his jaw so who knows what Artur would do to him.
