Teo no longer has the physical advantages. Teo's best victory was against a fighter campaigning at his 3rd weight (Lomachenko). The tactics and temperament he showed at 135 have not easily translated. He was able to hurt Commey with a counter iirc, but he couldn't hurt guys like Barboza and Claggett. Additionally, his face is marking up easily. I don't think Teo is a great front-foot fighter, but moving up in weight has forced him to lean on his counterpunching. Barboza and Claggett didn't land much, yet look at Teo's face. If Haney gets his strategy right, he'll be running Teo into jabs all night.

Gonna be hard to make the fight because these two are two of the biggest prima donnas in boxing with two of the craziest dads. I think it would be funny to see the dads go at it on the undercard. Heck, the dads squabbling during press week has the potential to be more interesting than the fight.Comment

Yeah I would say Haney has the physical advantages in this fight but I think Teo is the more skilled fighter with a slight power advantage and better chin at this weight. I expect Haney to be on his bike all night and hence why I think it could be a dull fight.

I think the weight may be the most important factor, hence why Teo doesn't want to fight Haney at 147. He wants Ennis because that would be a win-win situation, but he won't face Haney or Norman at the same weight. Supposedly Teo doesn't want to face Keyshawn Davis either. He didn't care to face Barboza when Barboza was still at TR, yet he suddenly agreed to fight him when Turki got involved. Teo is moving very carefully, and can't seem to make up his mind on whether he values money or legacy more. Teo could stay at 140 and unify his title, but he's also stated that he wants to move to 147. He doesn't have a concrete mission statement.
