just goes to show you how little thought goes into matchmaking at the highest level. they just match a name vs a name .

This is going to be a subpar fight from an entertainment perspective. On the positive side, it may be the last we see of Haney as I don't think the networks will comtinue to pay him to run (yes run, no boxing and not ring generalship).

Although I think the fight will be relatively boring, it's still a match-up that should happen. The only unfortunate thing is that it didn't happen at 135 before Teofimo lost to Kambosos.
This fight should happen at the full 147lb limit so both guys can start acclimating to the new weight. Afterwards, the winner could maybe go after Norman.
