That is excellent competition Taylor has faced and it takes alot of heart especially lately for Taylor to knowingly go into a dangerous situation not fully confident that he can win.

no heart? what about getting up from that first froch knockdown? low blow to taylor saying that. taylor fought as long as he could in every fight he never laid down. dont put him in the no heart category with rahman.

i hate it for taylor, arthur is one of my favs but i was pulling for taylor... i just hope he isnt hurt man that knockout looked vicious. i had nightmares just watching it.

also i felt taylor got at least a draw in the second pavlik fight.

Yeah I got heaps of respect for JT and you can't help but like the guy. A bit said that he couldn't pull it off against AA.

Credit to AA though. He is without doubt a better fighter than I have previously given him credit for. I still have Kessler beating him though.

Just saying... respect for Jermain Taylor.
REspect and more, i feel for JT. One of the bravest fighters around in my opinion. I feel as it all went wrong somewhere for him and hes tried everything to get back to the top, always coming up just short. Just seeing his face after the froch fight i could feel his pain, and he fought back, got a nutrionist and worked his ass off just to get KO'd in the last 10 seconds again.

What a nice guy too, not once ever saying or blaming or making one excuse all he blames is himself. My heart goes out to jermain and i hope to see him fight back, and for once succeed. god knows he needs it.

Maybe this is what happens when you have a young fighter who doesn't duck fighters. Multiple losses on his record. Props though. Thats a good resume

I love this game, and if you really love the game you can't help but feel some love for some fighters... I've been a fan of taylor watching him come up much before the Hopkins fights, and I always felt he was genuine. That was the biggest thing to me, he always recognized the best fighters, and always wanted to fight them to prove himself. Forget about his abilities, it's his mindset that I always applauded.

Seriously. This was one thing I did not want to happen. I just knew if Taylor got KOed again he would have his confidence totally shattered. How on earth he managed to get brutally KOed in the last 15 seconds of his last 2 fights I can never imagine.

That shot from Abraham just came out of nowhere though - I was shocked when Taylor went over. I mean it was a good shot but Taylor has taken bigger shots before and to be out cold like that is worrying....

To me it seemed like a straight right hand down the pipe... Abraham torqued his body and the punch seemed to land straight on his chin/jaw... Almost like just slamming his jaw back, and simply just basically knocking him unconscious. I didn't even see it at first, I just saw Taylor FLY back and look like Hatton.. and I was like... wtf???
