These tests don't mean **** when is the last time someone tested positive and got a long ban. Lot of fighters fight once a year if that, getting a 6 month or 1 year ban barely even counts as a ban

I remember Zolani Tete getting a 4 year ban.

I'm sure you're right but what does it say about the people doping that they're prepared to rely on an endless succession of chemicals just to function in life? It's drug addiction of a different kind.

A guy who walks around 180 will cut himself to fight at 147 and then rehydrate at fight night
That's the average welterweight. Walks around 180.
All that cutting and rehydrating will speed up break down of the body hence the need of substances

There are very few fighters who fight at their "walk around" weight and they are all top level guys
They compensate these disadvantages using skills
Floyd, Pac, Loma, B-Hop, to name a few
Their longevity is proof of that

Majority of the sport is just not skill-based.
It's all just brute force.
