weed is a weird one - for most fighters it probably has no benefit at all but for certain tapped or unhinged fighters it can bring out an extra wrinkle to their game. Classic example would be Mike Tyson burning that good chit before the Golota fight... He was tunnel vision focused on inflicting maximum damage. Tyson even alluded to the fact that in that fight he was able to be at his most viscous compared to any other fight he had in his career. In only 2 rounds he left Golota with a fractured cheekbone, a herniated disc in the neck and a concussion! I don't blame Golota for retiring at the end of the 2nd round lol.

amir khans excuse has been taken
‘I spent over £100,000 to try to find out how this could have got into my system. Among the possibilities they came up with was via a handshake. There was a whole crowd of people in my dressing room after the fight and I’m a friendly guy who always shakes hands.’
"A handshake!" Was a series of juice injections in the ass also among the possibilities, A mere Con?

Yeah, that's what I prefaced that with, bold statement considering it's coming from a Pac fan and his own accusations, lol. Yet neither was bust for PEDs, so we got no concrete, data don't lie type evidence that either did.Comment

You forgot Orlando Salido. But I think most athletes already use steroids now in days.
I mean about Marquez you aren't wrong, but to be fair in contrast to Pacquiao, he bulked up and had acne quite late in his career, compared to Pacquiao who was developing back acne in his 30s and whose head was swelling up as he moved up. It doesn't help that had also hired to renown Alex Ariza.
Erik Morales was bloated fighter in the end trail of his career, trying to cut fat in his late 30s.
There is as much as Americans that tested positive for steroids as Mexicans, if not more. (James Tony, Roy Jones, Antonio Tarver, Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield, Shane Mosley, Frankie Randall, and etc.)

the head swelling is such a dumb accusation. the mofo always had a bobble head.
and ariza never was known as a ped pusher trainer. so hiring ariza means nothing. Pac was just at his prime during the time ariza got on board with team Pacquiao, so it made it seem like ariza was responsible for manny's success while moving up in weight. but the truth is, Pac was at his prime (at his best) during that time.
because look at Manny after the marg fight where he wasn't prime anymore and started to decline, ariza wasn't able to do shiiet to help him so what happen to the peds then?Last edited by IceTrayDaGang; 05-29-2025, 05:44 PM.Comment
