Comments Thread For: Serhii Bohachuk claims he is the best at 154lbs ahead of May 17 fight
Ahead of his bout with Mykal Fox, Serhii Bohachuk made a bold claim about his position in a loaded junior middleweight division.

Bohachuk is good but I think he lost to Ortiz fair and square. We would find out the real king at 154 when (and if) Murtazaliev and Ortiz agree to fight each other, if Oscar allows that fight to happen. Right now, Oscar is rejecting the fight and protecting Ortiz, but Vergil is not scared of anyone so no doubt it happens in the future. The trouble is that Murtazaliev is a high risk, low reward fight for anyone, so really difficult to match him with one of the names.
Kid was robbed of a W vs Ortiz, and which Ortiz should be made to rematch! But since Ortiz won't, unless Boha has a belt or becomes his mandatory, then I wouldn't mind seeing Boha in with the monster wh0 beat the brakes off Timmy
I thought Bohachuk beat Vergil Ortiz with the 2 knockdowns in a very close fight. If he was given that victory, I can see his claim of being the best. Bakram vs Bohachuk would be guaranteed fireworks with two fighters that don’t go backwards
Anyone trained by Manny Robles ain't gonna be the best in their division, sub par trainer at best, one hit wonder with Andy Ruiz and he took credit for a job he didn't do.
What I like most about this article is when Owen Lewis wrote "the Transnational Rankings Board has him fifth". The reason I like it is because it's a subtle way of NOT using The Ring rankings. TBRB remains neutral. There's been a lot more non-subtle blows against The Ring/Turki stuff in the articles lately, which is warranted. This was a nice JAB. Sets up the rest of the punches.
