I'm talking about p4p fighters not HOF.

I think Fury was in the p4p rankings circa around 2021 and he beat a hall of famer in Klitschko.

Spence has been in the p4p rankings from 2017-2024 so I think eventually he'll get inducted into HOF.
Spence is definitely not a HOF. You gotta be kidding. Even TC said no way.
And Fury wasnt in the P4P when he fought Usyk.

Let’s not use the double standard.

Resume-wise Inoue is at the top 3.

      Speaking of p4p, Fury sucks.

Ali was knocked down by Cooper,
        Lewis knocked out by Rahman,
        Tyson Douglas,
        RJJ Tarver,
        SRL v Howard

        To name a few

Spence is definitely not first ballot
But like I said, he'll eventually get in

There are fighters inducted that are undeserving but get in due to their prolonged stay in the p4p rankings (Hatton, Corrales, etc.)

I dont know much about Fury as I dont like him.
          But Inoue hasn't fought a p4p fighter.
Donaire was last in the p4p rankings in 2013.
6 years removed when Inoue fought him.

          Usyk fought him in 2024.
          About 3 years removed.
Which makes Usyk's case a little bit better i guess?
And Fury was undefeated whereas Donaire got slept and schooled already by Walters and Rigo.

Haha...inoue's defence is shaky against a guy that is not that good, and that guy has so many flaws, leaving his body open. I am not into pound for pound lists, but inoue can never be no.1 with that type of performance. Usyk right now is the man due to what he accomplished.

Yes, usyk is deserving other than that heavyweights aren't usually seen as pf p fighters though

I mean if usyk went into a Josh and fury fight feeling so superior and complacent it mightve ended badly
That might have been more believable if Inoue had done anything other than beating a near 40 y/o

I actually prefer this one as it has Teofimo instead of Devin, but again it's subjective. I think a P4P top 15-20 list would stop most arguments. That's why I like to use the phrase "P4P-caliber" because being outside of the top 10 doesn't mean a fighter isn't capable or doesn't fit a legitimate criteria/rubric.

P4P isn't official. Plenty of organisations have rankings, but it's fantasy stuff.

If the argument for legitimacy of one fighter being ranked highly in P4P is that they beat someone else considered a P4P fighter then you see where this falls down, right? How did you rank the other fighter? They're just fighters in the same weight class... and probably one where more fighters get regarded as P4P fighters.

There are plenty of achievements to judge a fighter on without making things up.

Otherwise why stop at just comparing weight classes? Why not include women? Fk it, get some paralympians in there.
