While it was boring; I thought that William Scull had a very difficult style for Canelo and made it a very hotly contested bout. He made the fight close.

The lack of power is what prevented Scull in letting his hands go more. Canelo looked beatable. It was the most competitive fight Canelo has had at 168.

This guy knew how to box.. This performance should give Bud Crawfiotd confidence in knowing that he could defeat Alvarez.

I thought that Chris Mannix and Sergio Morra’s commentating was horrible. They were attempting to turn William scull into a fighter that he is mot.

The man is just a pure boxer. That’s his style. It’s how he always fight. They were trying turn him into a fighter that he was not.

This has been the most "fixed fight" in the history of boxing...Even if Scull KO Canelo (what never could happen) they could invent something to get Canelo-Crawford fight. Scull got more $$$ this way than if he could "win" the fight. You remember when Canelo fought Floyd despite he was so clear defeated there it was even a judge favoring Canelo. When Rigo defeated clearly Donaire the "reward" Rigo got was the contempt and criticism of Bob Arum and from there Rigo was "done" with boxing. Yesterday was Arum, today it's Turki Alalshikh "at bat"...He's who decides no matter what...

Canelo used to set traps very effectively, does getting older drain the mind of the ability to think through not just a vague strategy but appropriate tactics with which to achieve it?

One can absolutely walk a runner down in straight lines; slowly, gradually & sneakily with the back foot settings (a la Sean Strickland in MMA or like Foreman II used to), using punch angles that restrict him by being where he's going to be (e.g. like Canelo did to Khan).

When was the last time Alvarez tripled up or varied the level of the jab on the way in...??? Used the waist & knees in any way whatsoever....????

We out here acting like a boxer (in this instance a knockout artist at that!) taking the risk of expending energy in order to force the fight against an opponent who is reluctant/unwilling to engage is a criminal expectation or suttn, like WT actual F smh looooooooooool.

I've bched at a lot of bad fights.. This was the first time in recent [5 years?] memory that I actually went and turned it off - I think in the 5th or 6th. This was just.. bad. Like, not even good enough to be in the background bad. I have no idea how Canelo is still selling tickets. This was Rigondeux level bad.
