That's because The Big Dunn is an obsessive. Anything less than saying Mayweather was a perfect human, who conducted his career gallantly and flawlessly at every step, that there should be a gold statue of him in every major city and that children should be taught special classes about him is "hate".

The thing is, Crawford @ ww should be on par with Manny, but he #1. Don't fight enough #2. Don't sell
He doesn't rank Manny up there, but his accomplishments in comparison fall waaay short as evidenced in him getting only 6 votes in this thread.
When you suggest he fight some of these hungry lions like Ennis, he's saying he's looking for mega fights.
Honestly, he's not that guy and at his advanced age, I doubt if he will ever be that guy.

Not really sure what The Big Dunn's problem with Pacquiao is. Manny's a pretty inoffensive individual, I can only imagine Dunn is resentful about being insulted by his fans back in the day and lacks the insight to see he spends too much time arguing on the internet.Comment

This thread isn’t about Floyd. It’s about Crawford and Manny.Comment

I respect Crawford's achievements but he's been far too inactive. Statistically speaking you're obviously more likely to remain undefeated if you fight less frequently. Especially if most/all of those fights are in your home country.

Pac gets too many passes and accepted excuses.
Everything he does is the best
Every opponent was at their best
Not a cherry in sight
FOH
I can only imagine the outrage if May were to need a cutoff and push the fight back a decade............................................ ......Comment

Lol you do realise that 0.1% of 100 million boxing fans globally would be akin to 100,000 fans aka a small handful don't you retard?
Re Thurman, he either dropped/stopped 25/31 opponents he defeated with virtually all of the others being extremely durable fighter's who were only stopped in the final fight of their careers and ALSO went the distance with MANY other top Welterweights at the time. Therefore, Keith was unequivocally a puncher during his prime.
Where are you getting 100 million from? Thin air again. And 100,000 people hypothetically saying Thurman is not a puncher is a small handful to you? That's over the entirety of active users on this site currently.
Thurman was only ranked #3 on Ring magazine's list due to inactivity and NOT ability. After all, you just said so yourself that he hadn't beaten a ranked fighter in 28 months which is the ONLY reason they ranked him below Crawford & Spence. Crawford's ranking was also elevated due to previously being undisputed champion at Light Welterweight. However, that DOESN'T mean they were 'better Welterweights' than Thurman at the time as prior to the Lopez tune-up, he dispatched of Garcia & Porter in back-to-back fights who were 2 of the STRONGEST fighter's in the division.
For example, Tiger Woods was universally considered the best golfer on the planet but slipped down the rankings due to a long injury layoff. However, when he returned, NOBODY considered him to be inferior to the current #1 simply because of his previous body of work. Ditto for Thurman who was previously a unified Welterweight champion and had also beaten 6 other champions in his weight class unlike Crawford & Spence.
However, only a dumbass like you would believe that Crawford beating Horn (who got a hometown decision against Pacquiao), Benavidez Jr (who achieved NOTHING at the weight) and glass-chinned Khan (who'd already been splattered 3 times) were more impressive!
And the fact you've just tried to compare Tiger Woods with Keith Thurman is comicalLast edited by IronDanHamza; 05-05-2025, 02:19 PM.Comment
