Catchweight arguments are the most low-IQ thing in all of boxing.

Each time a fight is negotiated, a weight is agreed to. Sometimes it's within the established weight classes, sometimes it isn't. Both fighters have agree to it - no one is forced to do anything in boxing.

Nearly every fighter moves up and down in weight classes beyond their best chasing paydays and titles at some point during their career.

There is no asterisk next to anyone's wins or losses due to CWs.

cotto fought clottey at 146 prior to fighting manny.

hatton didnt get ktfo by floyd like pac did against marquez. (you wished floyd could do that). it was a TKO!! nice try tho.

and i dont give pac much credit for beating hatton anyways... hatton was never that good in my eyes. but pac still beat hatton in a way better fashion than floyd could ever, took floyd 10 rounds to get that drunk out of there LOL.

Cotto fought a lot of top fighters, he never could get that marquee win but was always competitive and fun to watch. When he fought at that level they were always big fights. He was one of the top guys in any of the division he was in but was not the guy.
