Win or lose, Richard gets props for this. He could have just as easily tried to fool audiences by going after an older, faded name, but he went for someone relatively as fresh as himself, or a reasonable facsimile thereof. I am flat out excited to see where he really is. And good luck to Vianello, too. Icing Richard would put him on some radars as popular as Kiki is.

Torrez like any young heavyweight is chomping at the bit...None of these guys want to be "managed." Can one blame them? People have to simply accept that with learning comes the possibility of failure. A heavyweight has a few years to shine, does not fight that often these days... Best to get in there and see what one can do sooner than later.

It's very good to see two young, top 20 heavyweights putting it all on the line. Torrez is the Olympian, and the name; but these two are right on par.
America is thirsty for the next hot US heavyweight, and for Torrez, this test is going let them know whether or not they've got one.
A loss will disappoint many; but an emphatic enough win; perhaps a knockout, will propel the winner right up to the doors of the top 10.

A lot of young talent waiting in the wings! These guys need seasoning, the more the better!

I think this could be a step to far for Torrez at this point. Vianello is no bum, no journeyman, he is way better than all guys Torrez has fought as a pro so far.

              They both absolutely ****ing suck!

I don't get the hype of Torrez Jr at all, great moustache I'll give him that looks like a 1920s strongman sadly for him he boxes like one also. Way too musclebound and stiff.

Don't fighters who "absolutely ****ing suck" tend to go into MMA and BKB for cab fare money first, and if they dominate there, they drop all the shortcuts and take a crack at the big money leagues, like McGregor and Ngannou did? I'm kinda joking there; but....

Torrez is # 19 and Vianello is # 20 out of 3,034 currently active heavyweights on planet earth at the moment.

Take your favorite athlete or street slugger and see how far up those 3,034 bruisers they can get.
It's not as simple as it seems on your keyboard, I promise
