Sorry but you won’t sell me on that one
Cash is king and I’m sure it’s not any different in Saudi
Fighters are just folks wanting to make a living and work. Turki is hiring and for non Americans the deal is sweeter and they get paid a bit more. Works better for Europeans or Central Asians that don't have much of a following.
    .
For Americans or Mexicans that have a passionate fanbase that are willing to support their fighters and buy tickets, the US is still a great option for them.

Brother , no one flys across the globe for nothing especially with a crew

So explain to me why would a British fighter go fight in Saudi when UK is flying high in attendance and ppv worth ??

Two guys fighting off the names of their dad’s sold 60 000 tickets in 30 mins
I'm sure that the ppv won’t do to shabby also

I'm not saying non Americans don't have to pay their fair share of taxes, but if you read the entire post of mine that you quoted, the point being made was different than just taxes and I answered questions concerning other matters.

I've not once stated anything negative about Turki nor glamorized Sulaiman nor PBC. The original discussion was based on Bivol getting paid $2.7 million to fight Beterbiev and an offer of $8 million that was made by PBC. I provided the source, the interview and why I believed the information to be true.

I believe Sulaiman's words about how much was earned and offered for his belts to be defended over articles with phantom sources. I have no problem believing Bivol over Sulaiman or Eddie over Sulaiman, so if you have anything from either one of them claiming that Bivol earned $10 million for fighting Beterbiev, cool! I'll believe it. If you have a link to Bivol or Eddie claiming that no $8 million offer was presented for a fight against Benavidez, I'll believe that too..

I've also provided numbers for Bud and every fighter on that LA card which happens to be Public Record and available for all who are interested, yet some folks refuse to believe it's true. I'm not trying to bad mouth Turki nor call him "cheap" or a "low baller". I'm just discussing things that I believe to be true based on information directly from a source involved in all matters of the fight, not from articles with no source given.

Let's hope it benefits their fighters economically as well. They certainly deserve the pay raise!

thats because boxers dont make a song and dance over payments in excess of their guarantee thats how boxing works and has done for a long time, u are trying to argue that boxers dont get these payments when they do get them and then quoting an ass hat like suliclown who has an agenda as a reliable source which is wrong thing to do as we all know these payments exist and boxers are very happy to take them as well

              • Sulaiman and the words true , believable are not synonymous with his ways

We've all been witness to his workings

It currently benefits Sulaiman financially that his champions earn as much as possible from Turki, so what's good for Bivol's pocket right now is good for Sulaiman's pocket.

Financially, it makes great sense for Canelo to sign up to fight in SA. Ginger is getting over paid in the multi millions for 4 fights, 3 of which he won't have to pay uncle Sam taxes on, just the Crawford fight. That is why he is willing to leave his US/Mexican fans with out a party this year and next year's May fights, as well as next year's September fight.

Freaking Ginger made out like a bandit in all of this and if Ginger continues to win, Sulaiman will continue to leach off his favorite fighter's earnings.
It makes him more money if the fighters competing make more. But that's ENTIRELY a different question from whether Sulaiman benefits from lying about the numbers. He's still pocketing the same amount regardless of what he tells the press. Unless you think if he lies to the press, he'll return the excess money to Bivol?

                    not sure what u mean

non americans are not just going to saudi for a tax break

they are going because its worth while for them to go cash wise clearly and lots of them can earn big cash outside of saudi so they must be going for a reason

they also have to pay tax on their income too its not just free cash in saudi for most if not all of them i would say
