'100%, and 200 million plus examples of that here in the US, and probably that many in this damn site all of whom should keep their asses out of any discussion not relative to their experience.'

Toprope, I'm not offering this, I'm telling you. Encouraging your child to have street fights is not good parenting. Acting like we live at zero, all we do is eat, drink, F&ck & fight is also not good parenting. Assuring your child that violence, aggression & horror is all that it means to be black & missing out Duke Ellington, Art Tatum, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane & Ella Fitzgerald is also not good parenting. I got 2 sons, they both black, last time I looked. Go F* yourself`

If you only knew young man, but go ahead and assume... Again, I was simply responding to a post, go ahead and keep believing that fathering and teaching a son right from wrong should be different based on skin color. You're feeding into stereotypical beliefs/thoughts either purposely or ignorantly...

I have no problem discussing boxing topics, nor replying to a post I disagree with in a respectful manner.....

I have no opinion on the Barkleys, another man's family. Go F* myself, you not an once black. Good for you and your 2 black sons however you raised them. I'm telling you this; parents everywhere break all your rules, have way more knowledge than you on historical black entertainers, utilize parenting styles you don't agree with and still have way better "black" sons than you. So fck you too good parent and get back to boxing m'er f'er!!

As I understand it 'Maricone' means gay man. There have been a lot of great fighters who were 'gay'. The names that jump out are Emile Griffiths & Panama Al Brown. There are lots of others but some guys wanted to stay 'in the closet'. Those guys are as I understand it, out & proud.

oof.. Those are some giants in the Jazz world. I spent many of days locked in my room listening in amazement to their work when I was a kid.. Stanley Clarke and Stanley Jordan were out of this world as well and hero's of mine growing up.

You have excellent taste in music sir.....

I don't know you or the Barkleys or anyone's family matters other than my own. I do not care what choice of parenting you or Mr. Barkley used. Don't waste your time trying to convince anyone what is right and wrong, or what is or isn't black or white. If you think parenting is the same everywhere for every family then you be you. Is there is a parenting site this can shift over to so I can get back to boxing.

With all due respect young man, your first post in this thread had nothing to do with boxing. I just followed your lead and continued the non boxing discussion. Here you go, so you can see for yourself....

Jeezie, you are the whitest dude in Boxing Scene if you don't get it. Daaaaaamn, it does not get whiter than you. WTF. The use of the word "schmuck" and "bizarre" to describe what is "life" for Barkley is a clear indication of your all American whiteness. You have not lived where everyone lived. Avoid discussions where you can't relate to the lifestyles and attitudes of black fathers and sons in locations where you would be afraid to walk down the street without police escort.
