One of the worst refs. At the other end of the spectrum is Benji Estevez.

You see, that is what is wrong with boxing! The commission say that it should have been called a knocked down and that the ref made a mistake, but won't change the outcome! They should get rid of all of them. The admit the mistake, so change the outcome and rescore the fight. Roach worked very hard and fought the fight of his life! reward him with the win, either by disqualifying Tank or by scoring it for Roach! He has that ugly draw on his record and a tuff fight usually means Tank won't the rematch!

I mean, it is obviously the wrong decision, backing up an obviously crap decision, with an referee's blatantly bias call ensuring the bad decision will be allowed to happen. However, as a jaded boxing fan allow me to say: It is nowhere NEAR the worst decision in boxing. At least Roach didn't lose. The draw is kiss your sister revolting, but at least the man that should have won does not have an "L" to sit with.

I mean... it is something. right?

Amount of apathetic commenters on this, and on twitter. It doesn't matter because #Boxing, it's just the way it is, blah blah blah.

I hope none of these are people that hold any sort of power – though it speaks to lack of ambition, so it's likely they don't.

This is the main counter actor towards change in the world.

Ref stepped in, nothing to appeal or argue. Roach won the fight hands down. We should all now be counting Davis as a defeated boxer. Anyone who says he’s unbeaten is a bell end. Just goes to show in america fights are not won by fighters. They put all the hard work and risk into it for what?
to be mugged off by some kunt sat in the safety of ringside having never laced up a pair of gloves let alone, committing to all that training and disciplined lifestyle to achieve that goal when, the posts get moved. Total and utter shameless wankers.

If I am Roach I bring a big lawsuit against NYSAC for this. Not surprising but a huge failure that anyone can see.

You know what? I don't think the ref is really at fault...Let me explain... Ok he made a bad call, shiat happens. But the rule steps in and overrules the ref's bad judgement. The rule being: when a fighter takes a knee and goes to his corner without the ref first sanctionng the time out, it is an automatic DQ.

I mean this is easy to fix! It is not like when Sven Ottke had his German ref that would constantly do crazy shiat to help Otke.

The auto reply should have been working, it should have been determined Tank broke the rules and was DQ'ed... The ref may have been confused, ok... But the rules protect everybody when and only when they are followed.
