Did they really need a vid replay to see if Davis' knee touched the canvas?

If that was in doubt, ok, but what about Tank going to the corner and getting wiped with a towel, surely that's not allowed.

Boxing just makes things up nowadays, deciding which rules to adhere to.

Are those technical difficulties still prevailing or can the footage be reviewed now and the round scoring corrected to reflect the knock down?

Ok, thanks. That was basically what I was wondering; is it 10-10 under the ten point must system.

What a catastrophic error for Roach's career. He fought the best fight possible and that would have been a gigantic career move.

            Here let's review:

            1. Tank's constant holding of Roach, no calls, plus a shoulder bump check to Lamont's chin, again no calls, warnings or a points deduction from the ref.

            2. Tank takes a knee, a clear knockdown, Willis starts the count but stops around 2? Wha? That's a 10-8 round for Roach.

            3. Tank turns his back, indicating that he's quitting so the fight should have been stopped right there too. Nope.

            4. Tank sticks his head out of the ring and his corner jumps on to the stairs/ring apron to wipe his face without the referee's instructions, automatic DQ right there.

Protected boys clubs is an absolute joke and that night was terrible and an embarrassment for boxing as a sport.

The underlined is incorrect. I know it seems odd, because it usually leads to a 10-8, but it does NOT automatically turn the round 10-8. Judges have discretion to score the round differently

Usually, but judges have discretion they could score it a lot of different ways, but 10-10 is one that is generally accepted. I guess in the long run this is good to have happened, now so many boxing fans see how unregulated judging actually is and maybe we could call for some changes.

Oh who am I kidding, nobody wants overall changes for the better we just want our guy to win, regardless if the system is flawed. Just like politics.

Roach didnt turn his back and run away. Tank jumped up and took off like a frog off a hot rock.
