I thought the poll was about who's the biggest hypejob and voted for Wilder.

Three champions in the years directly following Wladamir Klitschko. Fury, Wilder and Joshua. Fury held the lineal title, Wilder the WBC claim, and Joshua the WBA, IBF, IBO claim. Wilder and Fury had fought to an epic draw to unify the Lineal and the WBC, with Joshua biding his time to put HIS claim to the test against the other two. But on June 1, 2019 he was blown away by late substitute Andy Ruiz Jr.; losing his chance to compete with the big boys. He would become the recipient of a massive attempt to recapture his status over the next few years, which proved futile.
Fury and Wilder, however, would fight an epic trilogy with the unified Lineal championship and the WBC belt being contested.

All of this, you already knew of course. Anyway, its a cinch to look it up.
And don't be such a bogus belt booger.
Ah, now I get it. You were talking about the imaginary lineal title that PBC and Bob Arum told you was on the line in the Fury/Wilder trilogy, yeah?

"The only title that really matters".

The fabulous, prestigious, all important lineal crown. The crown that disappeared like a puff of hot air the instant Usyk was announced as the winner of his first fight with Fury.

I agree. I always encourage anyone... If someone makes a decent post I like it... Most people here are not really so bad when they are not deluded.

Oh brother... Kafkod you really should stay away from the st upid pills. Let me ask you this? What is more important a hammer or a screw driver? The lineal is not "important" the same way a belt is important... You cannot substitute one for the other. The lineal is a way for the fans to declare the champion. That is what it is for. It can be used to pressure the authorities, establish a claim, etc. That does not make it the same as a belt. It is the will of the people.

Sometimes simplicity is a virtue: The lineal is simple, elegant and useful when politics tries to pass a pig with lipstick as a champ.

Lol. Casual fans buy PPVs, so we can't really care if they follow the sport's history, right?

Usyk became champion when he beat Fury, who beat Wladamir Klitschko, in a line....back to a very long time ago.
No tin horn Latin American "Sanctioning body" gets to arbitrarily pick who the heavyweight champion is.
                they never have.
Oleksandr Usyk is just one more link in the chain.

                Now you know.

I would sayTank is the #1 hype job in recent years. His fans worship him for beating on B-rate no-hopers, weight drained contenders, washed up former champions and calling out fighters three weight classes below him. He ducked Loma for seven years insisted he was too young even at 25 and having held a title. He lost that title on the scales.

Wilder was a big hype job but relatively anonymous. At his peak no one knew who he was. He walked the streets of Times Square with Mark Kreigel and not one person recognized him, even when they stopped random people on the street to ask if they knew him.

Broner had an easy path to his title wins but he also stepped up and took risks later in his career. Never in a boring fight.

They were all on the PBC Protection Plan for most of their careers.
