Smith is still in there; where he will end up is a likely conclusion but I think he proved he still has a couple of modest fights left.

Don't even tell me about bets - I had a double on Sheeraz and Bakole, both via knockout. Yeah, right

I could fathom Bakole losing, but Sheeraz really disappointed me.

I was distinctly unimpressed with his skill. Heck of a chin though, and he's got grit. But there's no chance he beats either Russian champ, and I don't fancy his chances vs Benavidez (or Morrell). I thought Smith was talking like someone ready to hang it up, and picked against him, but he sure proved me wrong.

In fact, Smith had started the fight quite cautiously. Only when he realized Buatsi's lack of ambition he became more confident, and that's basically the reason behind his win.

I don't really understand why Buatsi and Sheeraz choked so hard when their moment came. Sheeraz seemed like he could be the goods, but I now see why he wanted no part of Janibek.

Buatsi seems to lack the fire in his belly from quite a while ago, whereas most of us were probably fooled by Sheeraz's recent quick knockout wins against a shot Liam Williams and Tyler Denny. But if one thinks about the fight against Bradley Skeete...

Callum is world class. He has two losses to elites. No shame about that.

For me, Buatsi worse showing in this fight was his lack of defense.

Extemely bad, wide open for the right hand constantly.
