Parker can pop but he cant take what he dishes out. He'll box and play keep away to survive. He can hurt a man, but he has to be carefull too. He has recourse. Bokole probably feels an extra layer of fat will protect him but like they say in the hood. Jaws never get too big.

Hopefully they rematch because Bakole will not be 100%.

      Parker wide UD

i see 3 different fighters in Bakole, Zhang and Wilder. Plus there's a fourth - Joe Joyce. Wilder was/is shot so a non-factor imo. Zhang gases more than Bakole. Joyce, before he was shot, beat Parker. I'd say that fight is the closest reference.

I'm not really convinced that's a good reference at all. Parker had the flu for that fight. And Joyce didn't get shot. He got Big **** Zhanged. He was the overwhelming favorite going into the first fight. He always relied on his chin to defend him. I think that fight was more of an anomaly for Parker than an indication of how he does vs big punchers. I won't be surprised if Bakole stops Parker early, because he's a big man with good power and fast hands for his size. But I also won't be surprised if Parker does the same thing he did vs Zhang, and I'm not going to pick against him this time, because he keeps proving me wrong.

I like Bakole but too many red flags here. 300lbs, no training camp. I will go Parker by decision.

If bakole is out of shape all parker has to do is put his head on his chest and go to work after the 3rd round

If bakole is in shape he stops Parker in the 9th or 10th

Unfortunately, Bakole didn't make it to the weigh-in show.
I was really interested to get a visual on his condition.
We'll just have to wait until tomorrow.
Parker is a full 267 pounds. He doesn't look particularly cut but maybe that's just not his body type.

Bakole was 299 for Takam. I say the under / over for 310 is about even money.

How is he going to look now if he hasn't even started his camp yet? I understand why he "had to take this fight" and "he feels like he is dreaming" because this is life changing money for him that usually just does not happen to people randomly, but the writing is on the wall. Joseph Parker 2.0 will just box him for a few rounds and stay out of harms way. After that, it will be target practice.
If I was a betting man (I'm not) I would go with this scenario.
But even a fat and under-trained Bakole will have fast and powerful hands for at least a round.
And as we all know, it only takes one shot to change everything and one round is more than enough time for lightning to strike for Bakole..
                    It's fascinating.
If Bakole gasses and goes down, he's got the built-in excuse of taking the fight on ridiculously late notice.
I can't imagine his stock would drop too much unless he somehow just embarrasses himself, and gassing out won't count for that in this fight IMO.

Bakole just got a real gift in the form of parkers weight.

Parker tried coming in big against Joyce and it was the worst move ever, now he's doing the same vs Bakole who fights very similar to Joyce...
