Well, yeah, but even 1 in 10 odds aren't bad given this situation.
It's not likely but it's also far from inconceivable.
After all, we've seen Parker get cornered and sparked out by Joe Joyce.
    Just saying.

But even a fat and under-trained Bakole will have fast and powerful hands for at least a round.
And as we all know, it only takes one shot to change everything and one round is more than enough time for lightning to strike for Bakole..
      It's fascinating.
If Bakole gasses and goes down, he's got the built-in excuse of taking the fight on ridiculously late notice.
I can't imagine his stock would drop too much unless he somehow just embarrasses himself, and gassing out won't count for that in this fight IMO.
Id be shocked if Bakole could spark parker early, Parker is robust, he's got up from flush Zhang shots, the only time I've ever seen him really hurt is when he was dog tired which isn't going to happen early.

But if Bakole is in better shape than we expect, Parker may well get tired being almost 270lbs.

OK, after some reflection, I'll concede your argument is better.
        For now.
But if this turns into Joyce Rev. 2 for Parker, I'll collect my dues from you after the fight

Yeah, Parker weighed in at 267.
I don't know if that's a good or bad weight for him at his age, but it seems heavy.
A bit worrisome if your best strategy requires good movement.

Unless Bakole is terribly out of shape, he beats up Parker and stops him in 7-8 rounds. It will be similar to the Joyce fight but quicker and more brutal.

Respect to both men for taking this fight on such a ridiculously short notice, we need more warriors like them and less prima donnas.

On a side note, I just read on another site that when presented with a list of potential candidates, Joseph Parker specifically asked for Martin Bakole. He has some balls on him. "The monster, the so-called avoided fighter... well he's not being avoided by Joseph Parker."
Ahh, you looked up his past fight weights on BoxRec or something?
              Good detective work.
I thought he looked a bit heavy, if not doughy, to be honest.
And I've always thought of Parker being on the smaller side of legit heavyweights, but 267 is pretty frickin' massive.
All these questions will be answered about 24 hours from now, mmm hmmm.

                Could be.
Warriors they are, even if both are fat.
Maybe the story is really about who better handles being saddled with love-handles if the both of them are?

I'm surprised that Parker is coming in so heavy, that's twelve pounds heavier than when he fought Joyce. That would not have helped him against Dubois, and it won't help him against Bakole. I will say this, Parker's lucky that he's not getting Dubois.

Still, Bakole will be dangerous, it will all depend how much gas both fighters have. This may end up being a sloppy, boring affair, folks.

Yes, it will be shock if you beat parker. Your spar stories don't gain you favour. It's only you saying it, but the opponents are not confirming it, two sides to every story

It turns out we were both wrong. Parker won but not in a way I thought he would win.
