Why is Dillian Whyte allowed to fight in the UK?

Anyone have any info on this I've missed?

Frank Warren was questioned on it, he said there's no issue in regards to him fighting in the UK

He's failed I think 3 drug tests now for 3 different fights, doesn't have a UK license and to my understanding hasn't had any hearings in regards to his latest failed test.

Conor Benn wasn't allowed to fight in the UK, despite the fact he'd won his hearing with the BBBoc/UKAD on the basis there was an ongoing appeal of that hearing.

Seems strange. I think anyone who fails 3 drug tests should be banned from the sport personally.

I think he also failed one or two tests as a kickboxer. So he's got that going for him.

Perhaps but Conor Benn had money behind him too but yet was being blocked at every turn by the BBBoC despite having (and winning) a hearing with them.

You'd think Dillian Whyte at this stage of his career isn't going to be backed financially out the ears.

          Obviously not
Most likely ulterior motives at hand which we are being kept from
But the goal is money or wouldn’t be worth it

Either he's served a silent ban or his fight will be licensed by a foreign board.

He was cleared as they found the drugs were from a contaminated supplement.

He's 'only' been found 'guilty' of one failed test. That was at the start of his career when he took Jack3D and even then they said it was accidental, but negligence as he should've check the ingredients, so he served the ban.

                  Take that as you will!

I think what might have been a contributing factor was how Benn handled it all. He was very public about going against the BBBoC, that their ruling was wrong, also made them look inept and powerless by going around them. I can imagine for their continued existence/relevance they would’ve had to push back hard to make an example.

IIRC the test had been positive for quite some time until someone leaked it to the press, so they might’ve been somewhat ok with the situation until a light was shone onto it.

Apparently A LOT of UK pros have popped dirty and quietly made it go away.
