If you thought Morrell had a chance at winning this fight, which a lot of you did, you just simply don’t know shhhh about boxing!

Those Benavidez upper cuts up the middle were a work of art. He was splitting the guard all night with them.

haha that is what I thought but they were just boxing shoes that looked like timbs. I likes that get up he had on with the jeans boxing shorts.

It’s no wonder why Canelo is ducking David Benavidez? He is afraid of getting his ass whupped!

What’s a great performance by Benny and also what a great effort by Morrell? He needs more development and experience.

He ate some hellacious shots against Benavidez and not once did he ever buckle or clinch. Morever, he dropped Benny and hurt him a few times too?

Many of Benevidez's shots sounded so hard and you could see the thudding impact, but Morrell ate them. Either he has a legendary beard or the shots were somehow not as hard as they appeared and sounded.
I look forward to Benevidez future bouts because I imagine he continues to fill in a bit and get even better.

Canelo had all the chance in the world to take out his last what 5 smw fight opponents like John Ryder. That's sheeit for brains thinking. Canelo a smart m'er f'er, not goin nowhere near anything at 175, can't even take out 168's. Get outa here with that BS!!!!

I think Benavidez can be top guy at 175 in a few years when top dogs both get old and retire. Righ now no. I still think they both beat him, but he gives them a good fight.

I don`t even think Benavidez is such a big puncher. But his timing and work rate is great.

If the Gods of Boxing smile upon us, the suffering fans, Benavidez and Beterbiev move directly and forthwith to a fight within the next few months, hopefully before Artur ages out. Then we will see, as Lupe Contreras likes to say, "quien es mas macho".

Time is NOT on Beterbiev's side in this scenario.
