These are useless articles when you're not addressing fake, exaggerated, manufactured PPV reports. Why are there reports only on PBC fights? Where are Turki's PPV numbers? Aren't they supposed to sell more because they're cheaper? Where are GBP's PPV numbers? Where are TR's numbers? Where are MR's? Why are there no articles about this?

lol ridiculous: "“You have to remember,” Taffet said, “that pay-per-view boxing is primarily viewed like a Super Bowl party, where six, eight, 10 people get together and spend the evening together and watch a fight. So, $80 for a fight on a Saturday night when you’ve got 10 people together is actually much less than the cost of a movie ticket for each person." This line of thinking drove boxing fans to illegal streaming by making every single decent fight a PPV.

These guys are not cognizant of what's going on out there. There's a reason that people aren't buying pay-per-views anymore. The fights are not competitive anymore. That is why people are forced to steal. Ppv used to be for the top and best Elite fights now they are junk. You have a a Fighter fighting a d fighter where everyone knows the result. Saudi cards are worth it. I don't mind paying for those.

Fortunately I'm too used to watching the likes of Inoue and Nakatani and Ioka and such fight for free LEGALLY that I can never understand those arguing that $90 PPV are worth it or not and justifying stealing to begin with.

My answer would be to make them all streamable for free legally with ads or something.

I’m purchasing at this price point to send haymon a message with his over priced trash events. Hopefully it’s a grand slam event good luck. Everyone should buy this because it will create a new trend

For sure, in 2002 one of these three would have been a ppv, one boxing after dark, and the last friday night fights.

Fnf might be a bit unfair, but I bet I wouldn't enjoy tanks card much more than a good FNF broadcast.

Al just has no money left...good on him for overpaying guys for mostly boring matchups.

Tank fights remind me of Andre Bertos fights back in the day on HBO boxing after dark. I remember he was making at least one million fighting the likes of Freddy Hernandez! It ****** but at least they weren’t PPV. I only pay for 50-50 fights as we all should!

So true. I bought the fight today and will more than likely be watching it by myself on my 120" screen because most of my acquaintances aren't really into boxing. I'll buy the Saudi card, but mismatches like Tank's card aren't worth my time, let alone my money, IMO.
