Now we have to see how the likes of Ituema, Torres, Bakole, and Wardly bring up the rear and give us a fresh generation of talented heavyweights.
When did Miller lose to Bakole?

Wilder hasn't distinguished himself from the pack. You're putting him in a group at the top with Fury and Usyk?

Nah, It's too risky. Both guys can punch but both are very chinny at this stage of their careers as well. They want to preserve Anthony Joshua for a potential Tyson Fury fight or a Deontay Wilder fight. It's a lot more money to be made in those two fights than a Dillian Whyte fight.

As soon as Hearn did the ole "AJ will fight Bakole, Zhang or Whyte" we all knew this was coming lol. It's one of hearns oldest tricks.

Ten years ago I was there and it was a 'live' affair , today it's dead with neither cable of much .One coming back very fat after a drugs ban , the other after just being flattened .

Dillain Whyte hasn't had a drugs ban.

I see a lot of persons here lashing out at Whyte, saying he is shot and many more. OK. But I wonder why Wilder still wouldn't fight him, or anyone of that level in his next fight, and instead, PICKED Curtis Harper.

The double standard on this site is alarming. I was shocked to see people defending the Harper fight; coming up with every excuse in the book..

Under no circumstance at this current time should Wilder be fighting Harper; none whatsoever. He did all that and nothing more in his first 30 or so fights. He ought to have fought Whyte a long time ago but didn't, and still wouldn't pick someone like Whyte in Whyte's "shot" state.

                Why not Whyte vs Wilder.
Why not Wilder vs Guido Vianello.
Why not Wilder vs Joe Joyce (3 loses in last 4).
Why not Wilder vs Jermaine Franklin.
Why not Wilder vs Tony Yoka.
Why not Wilder vs Russian monster (B2B loses)

These are the type of fights you call a comeback fight. Not Wilder vs Harper. But somehow Wilder had behind him, Defenders of The Universe.
Cut Whyte some slacks; we know almost for certain that Whyte's next fight wouldn't be against anyone with a record as Harper.

Fast Eddie would pay Whyte to lose and look good doing it.

That's why this matchup would be fun to see how their recent backstories play out, if only as an undercard feature on a fight that really matters.

You know how it works in reality, dontcha?
Wilder coming off a bad (really bad) KO loss to Zhang needs a confidence-booster tune-up.
It also gets him a glimmer of media exposure as a recent winner rather than a recent loser.

You don't think Whyte is shot? Did you not see his last fight vs the slowest heavyweight ever in Ebenezer Tetteh?
