    his last fight was a close decision loss to the number 1 p4p fighter.

    he can still fight if he wants

    his punches dont seem to have the same pop, i would worry about that with AJ but otherwise he should beat AJ who has been very sloppy and makes a lot of mistakes.

    Now if he thinks he can take a year off and party and balloon up to 350lbs at his age and then come back 2026 that is a huge mistake.

      Absolutely bonkers what Usyk did in the second half of his career:

      Gassiev whipped for 12 rounds and career crashed;
      Bellew KTFO and retired;
      Joshua whipped X2 and went bonkers;
      Dubois quit;
      Fury whipped X2, almost KTFO and retired.

      ALL OF THIS ON THE ROAD.

        I don’t think Fury is or ever has been confident of beating AJ. I don’t think he ever fancied that fight. Joshua is a headcase with a poor chin, but Fury doesn’t punch that hard, isn’t hard to hit, and Joshua would hit him plenty. Fury’s ego just couldn’t take losing to Joshua and he wouldn’t take the fight unless he was 100% sure he’d win it, which I don’t think he ever has been.

            I tend to agree with most of your posts so I won’t debate you on this. From what I know, Fury-AJ didn’t happen because of four reasons;
            1). Wilder activated a contractual clause that forced a third fight with Fury
            2). AJ was then forced to fight his mandatories. Usyk and someone else.
            3). Fury was then ordered to fight his mandatory, Dylan White.
            4). AJ got beat by Usyk and he also exercised his rematch clause.

            I just find it hard to believe Fury ducked AJ because AJ would appear to be an easy fight for Fury.

            What I will say is that if both really wanted the fight, they would have made it happen. They didn’t need belts to fight each other.

            Hmmmm, with all the shyt talking it's hard to tell. I guess it's possible that Fury was just trying negotiate for a bigger cut but he certainly didn't seem like he wanted that fight. To be fair, I'll need to go back and walk through the time line.

              Fury hasn't wanted ANY of the top guys. He had to be taken to court to rematch Wilder, arbitration and several delays to fight Whyte, the fight with Usyk got cancelled so many times, then delayed several times, and nearly ruined when he got dropped and nearly lost to a debutante, and never fought the likes of Parker, Joyce, Dubois, Zhang, Ruiz, etc.

                Champion boxers take losses very hard. The more certain they are that they're the best, the messier the reaction after a loss. At some point Fury will realize he is fairly fit and undamaged after the wars. And there will be a big check or two floating around within his grasp. Give it 18 months, then let's see how he feels about continuing. It's a bit premature right now, after a major disappointment.

                  It means he’s saying he was robbed.

                    The saying is "at least **** Turpin wore a mask".

                    It means you've been robbed in plain sight.

                      I kind of believe him this time that he’s actually retired. I don’t think the AJ fight motivates him anymore after seeing what Dubois did to him, and he’s always said if he can’t be the best then what’s the point. Thanks for the great fights.

                      Good for him for putting his family and health first
