I'm picking up what he's dropping off. I didn't realize how big Morrell is. Being bigger than previous opponents was about 70% the reason for Benavidez' successes. His plodding, relentless come forward style is likely going to be derailed when he gets hit by a skilled, strong young fighter in Morrell

Most must see this as 60-40 or wider for Benavidez the way these discussions are lining up. But I just cannot get there from where I sit behind this keyboard. I have zero problems seeing a few scenarios Morrell wins this. I also do not like the shove at the pre-fight promotion. I generally have seen that historically the one that is overly aggressive at pressers or weigh-ins tend to lose.

This is a true 50-50 fight for me. I lean Benavidez mostly because people on this forum I respect do.

I don't see why people try to act like this isn't the facts. He's fought 3 people his size and those were the 3 people he couldnt knock out. Out of those 3, none of them were punchers. Gavril. Plant, Gvozdyk. well, Gvozdyk used to have decent pop but he was 37 and throwing pity pat shots at him. Benavidez has benefitted from not being in the ring with someone his size who can punch him back with real power. On top of that, Morrell his younger and has a 4 inch reach advantage. Cant wait

From what i have seen of Morrell thus far, I'll put my money on "40 year old shopworn" Gvodzyk to beat him.
