Morrell already has the crazy edge, tossing his belt like that. Haha.

Like Usyk. But even he gets tired I've noticed at HW.

Andrade had been so inactive that people just couldn’t gage how old and past his prime he had gotten. I think it’s safe to say someone like morrell would have done him in pretty handily as well.

I used to do a fair amount of distance running. I would notice a difference in performance with even a two pound gain in weight. The uninitiated don’t understand what a difference of only a couple of pounds can make to a trained athlete. Never ceases to amaze me how many posters here give so little regard to weight differences between fighters, especially in the lower divisions.

I still thought he would beat Benavidez and he was well on his way until he shook hands with the patented Benavidez elbow, much like Plant before him.
People forget that benavidez had agreed to face Morrell Jr back then, only to changed the opponent to andrade, he said he chose him because he was a former champion. Of course he left out the part that he wad a career 154, 35yo and had never faced an elite fighter.

Same here. It’s interesting to note that few posters are very confident in either man. 60/40 or 55/45, Benny, if you ask me. The only thing I’m confident about is that this will be a good fight, possibly even a FOTY candidate. These are two well-matched young studs, both with a zero to lose and with apparently no love lost between them. How can you not be excited as a fan?

Especially because he keeps his hands high amateur style to protect the head, and leaves himself open to the body, which is usually how you slow down a mobile fighter. It's insane how good his conditioning is at 37, carrying over 220 lbs like that for 12.

I'll throw anything that I can grab just to get even. In any case the b1tch move was from benavidez, Morrell Jr just reacted fast and swift.
Really? You'd throw something? While I agree that Benavidez shoving Morrell was uncalled for, throwing an object in response just seems like something a woman would do. And that belt could have hit anyone in its path. I'd rather wait until the fight and throw punches!

So benavidez shoved him and the only way he could get back to him was, yes, throwing whatever he has on his hand, because everybody got between them, and that was the only way to get even. What do you want him to do? Take him to court for battery? If someone acted like a b1tch1 woman was benavidez.
ps. He used to be a pitcher in a baseball team, you can always trust your reflexes.
