These fights piss me off. It's like, what more would Serrano had to have done to get the W in either one? Obviously a KO, but it's bs. There were times I almost thought the first fight should have been stopped cause Taylor was taking such a bad beating. I thought, for sure Serrano had it in the bag by the end of the fight. When the results were announced, I couldn't help but feel sorry as hell for her and the robbery that took place.

Then this rematch happens and well, the results made me say , f**k it. They just don't ever want to give it to Serrano no matter how much better she shows herself. Then after the fight people were calling that they need a 3rd fight so bad. FOR WHAT? So that Serrano can go 0-3 robbery? Sure, it probably is a nice paycheck for her, but the results left on her record are appalling for someone that just reads a record and doesn't deep dive into the story behind a loss.

If I were her, I would say "go f**k yourselves" if they offer her a 3rd. At this point, it's easy win for Taylor who knows that as long as she stays on her feet, she's getting the W and the paycheck.

In the modern era, a trilogy is usually reserved for 1-1 records; but these girls have put on such a show in their previous encounters that no one would complain about a third fight. I certainly wouldn’t. Amanda could insist that, in order for her to agree to a trilogy, the third event be held in Puerto Rico, with at least one PR judge.

Like most people, I thought Serrano should’ve gotten the decision. Looking at the scores on Boxrec, I’m somewhat surprised to see that the fan scores only showed Amanda winning 95-94. That means the point deduction for headbutting (which I thought was questionable) was the difference. Clearly the fans thought the fight was very close. What I find very difficult to explain is how all three judges could’ve scored it for Katie after the penalty. Head-scratching.

There was controversy in Manny vs Marquez 1 and 2. I'm glad they gave the fans 4 fights instead of just two. Maybe Taylor/Serrano 3 needs to happen. It's good for their pockets and good for the viewing fans.....

I remember Tyson accusing Holyfield of the same thing and claiming that he bit his ear off because the referee was allowing Holyfield to headbutt. I think Mills Lane was the ref....
