I'd be curious to know how many new subscribers Netflix got out of the deal. This you could possibly correlate to that if they charged 5 dollars, they would have ordered the PPV, however again, having Netflix gives you the additional content, so it made it a win win subscription for most folks anyway.
Was there enough casuals that wanted to see a 60yr old Tyson fight a Youtube boxer to pay 5 bucks JUST to see that? I'm honestly not sure. Let's not forget, a ton of those millions of views were probably kids/teenagers that know Jake Paul and only tuned in because of him and don't even got 5 bucks to spend to order anything, lol.Last edited by ELPacman; 11-19-2024, 12:46 PM.

This was a good card - meaning the undercard. I'd tune in again to watch two great undercard matches, along with a challenger looking to beat Paul.
I'd be rooting for the Challenger btw
Elvis Presley's Aloha from Hawaii concert was viewed by an estimated 1–1.5 billion people in over 40 countries:

Unless they saw an influx of new subscribers that will stick around well after the fight then those views don’t mean much.

Did ANY UFC event, PPV, Cable or Free ever draw this many viewers?

PPV models like cable. Dead. Down with PPV.
Less eyes on the sport, less exposure. Just a bunch of greedy promoters and CEO bastards want PPV. Terrible for the sport.
Same with sanctioning belts charging fees. Killing the sport.Monty Fisto likes this.

mike tyson is an absolute scumbag, this is what he said before his 'fight' with Roy Jones & his purse
"It's going to be for various charities," he told TMZ Sports.
"Nobody has to ever worry about me getting rich, or getting jealous, or saying I'm doing [the comeback] for money.
"I'm not getting anything. I just feel good doing this because I can."
He did a tyson fury on it, connection both called tyson, i dont think either tyson gave a penny let alone their entire purse to anyone but themselves
Now, he once again cons the gullible paying public with an ever bigger con, the gimp couldnt even hop around the ring let alone fight
whatever he had with don king, it rubbed off on him thats for sureDamn Wicked likes this.
