Seen by 60 mil is the spin of the century. Maybe 60 mil watched a buffer screen, ain't no ****ing way they watched the fights.

Why would they need to charge 80 bucks. They could have shown what a fair PPV costs and charged 5 bucks....and still.pulled in 300 million for 65 million views. No doubt at least half those 65 million would have paid up.

It still wouldn't have done that many buys at a cheaper rate. Netflix is already established worldwide, so it was easy to get folks from all over the world to just turn on their app and watch it (even on their phone).

I'd be curious to know how many new subscribers Netflix got out of the deal. This you could possibly correlate to that if they charged 5 dollars, they would have ordered the PPV, however again, having Netflix gives you the additional content, so it made it a win win subscription for most folks anyway.

Was there enough casuals that wanted to see a 60yr old Tyson fight a Youtube boxer to pay 5 bucks JUST to see that? I'm honestly not sure. Let's not forget, a ton of those millions of views were probably kids/teenagers that know Jake Paul and only tuned in because of him and don't even got 5 bucks to spend to order anything, lol.

That's half the people who tune in to watch the Super Bowl. That's an impressive stat. Netflix might be on to something. This was a good card - meaning the undercard. I'd tune in again to watch two great undercard matches, along with a challenger looking to beat Paul.

Haymon already has a deal with amazon to stream boxing. The problem is Al & greed putting almost everything so far behind a ppv wall when the card's simply aren't ppv worthy.

So clearly you hate the man but that doesn’t change the fact that he is currently in conversations with Discovery and has in the past had conversations with Netflix as well. The deal with Amazon isn’t exclusive
