How many boxers (fighting) in the US now have shown reluctance to come back?

There's the Charlo brothers, Spence, Thurman, Crawford, Haney, Adames, De Los Santos, who else?

I'm not sure I understand your list other than most of them are PBC. They're killing themselves and American boxing by not having more events.

Haven't heard a peep about any one of those names. No one cares. Inactivity is a contagious disease in that side of the street.

Shakur and Teo have both fake retired before. Thurman keeps pretending he's NOT retired, to add to the list of PBC inactives.

Anyone who doesn't have a fight atleast announced/scheduled within one year of last fight is considered retired in my definition until otherwise.

Adames and De Los Santos are interesting cases. They haven't established themselves properly, yet they're acting like they have accomplished a lot already. Is it really PBC to blame or the fighters themselves? You'd wonder what all this inactivity all about.

Crawford just fought a few months ago, where have y'all been?

Those PBC dudes are in trouble, though.

I was rooting for them because they were bringing boxing back to free TV, but it's all gone wrong the last 4 or 5 years.

Crawford is essentially retired, imho, especially now that the Canelo fight is far from happening for him. Who is there to attract him and get the kind of money he wants? He dismissed the Fundora fight ordered by WBO. Which was supposedly the fight he claimed he wanted for unification. He let the deadline pass for the purse bid, and he could have had plenty of time to prepare.

Had Tszyu won, I could've seen him fight him in an unification in Australia for good money...but that ship sailed too. Fundora/Murtazaliev just don't have the cash pull making Crawford want to unify. Only reason he did Madrimov was because Turki funded it, but he seems less keen to do it again now.
