you just said kovalev was leaning over, that implies its somehow his fault the fight was stopped based on how he reacted to the low blows. he was blatantly fouled and the ref instead of admonishing ward, punished kovalev. im not sure its possible not to react to being hit so low and so hard, ward got great leverage on those ball punches. when you are defending tony weeks you probably are on the wrong side dont you think? he is the a-side protector.
Who Won Kovalev Ward

well i dont know what you were seeing but if you thought that, thats fair. i thought kovalev easily won and landed the cleaner punches, especially if you take into account wrestling and hitting on the break which which is how ward landed the majority of his punches and isnt legal.Comment

I never once defended Tony Weeks at any point either. He didn't do a good job that night.
I said Kovalev was leaning over, because he was. Why was he? That's open to debate and likely a combination of things. One of those from getting beat up, which he was, not due to low blows he was hurt to the head by Ward and in trouble, meaning it was difficult for Ward to hit the target in that scenario. It is a factor in the fight whether you like that or not.
Obviously he did hit him low, it happens. You want to act like it's the sole and only reason and do your usual nonsense and paint the picture you want to and you're too straight up retarded to even know it.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 10-11-2024, 06:28 PM.Comment

Wilder/Fury 2 parallel wasn't about the scorecards, but the fight flow. Fury was always viewed as pillow fisted, while Wilder was a devastating puncher. In their rematch, Fury stopped Wilder, just like Ward was well on the way to stop Kov without the nutshots.

The first fight was so close that I do not personally think it could be considered a robbery no matter who had taken the decision. I am okay with Ward being officially the winner.
Second fight was an odd one. I’m on the fence about the ending. At least give the guy a count, I guess is what I’m trying to say…Comment
