  • Who Won Kovalev Ward

I think either could have won up to 7 rounds

    good scores would be

Kov won 114-113 the knockdown getting Kov the win
Ward won 114-113 Ward wins by taking 7 rounds
Kov won 115-112 Kov wins by taking 7 rounds

Doesn't matter. CoWard got the gift and low blowed the ko in the rematch. He's officially got the wins.

kov won the first and then in the rematch ward punched him in the balls literally 5x, a literal 5 punch ball combination and the ref was like nope thats all legal, all 5 of them.

meanwhile dubois landed a perfectly legal on the belt shot to usyk and ref was like nope not legal.

With fair judges, Kovelev won the first fight.

What happened in the rematch was maybe the most blatant example of corrupt officiating I have ever seen in a world title fight. Ward hit Kovalev low, Kovalev sat down on the ropes and looked at the ref, clearly expecting him to give Ward a warning. Instead, the ref waves the fight off and declares Ward the winner by KO. He didn't even start a count and give Kovalev the opportunity of fighting on. Disgraceful.

I had Kov winning the first fight by a point.

          Ward won the 2nd fight.

At some point you guys need to get over this and move on.

If you want to be objective and honest, you can look at the footage of both fights and see that Ward hits Kovalev in almost exactly the same part of the lower belly as Dubois hits Usyk.

If you don't want to be honest and objective, you can see whatever you want to see. But the truth is, Kovalev and Usyk were both hit low.

Kovalev won but it was a political thing. You know, "we, saviors of the world" against the "big bad bear"

It is a shame that they gave those fights to Ward. First one Kova won easily and second one Ward should've been disqualified. But people are biased and as I said, bad political moment for Kova.

I have never seen biggest N a z I s than us Americans in the way of thinking. We are just too ignorant to understand that we are already there.

Kovalev won the first fight. Can't give Ward 8 rounds.

Not a fan of Ward as person (whiny, cheating, wanna be thug).

Having said that, Kovalev was dominating the first fight, and for some reason decided to be cute and fight inside with Ward (to try to embarrass him maybe?) Once he did, Ward got the best of him. All Kov needed to do was stay outside and he would have stopped him. I believe when scoring the fight live, I did give it to Kovalev by 1 round (114-113) IIRC, however he absolutely gave that fight away, and it's 100% on him.

The 2nd fight, Ward was a much better fighter, he was in better shape, and he was dominating Kovalev. This fight was going very similarly to Fury - Wilder 2. Having said that, he absolutely punched Kovalev in the balls several times, and all of those shots were low. Ward cheated.. and sad thing is he really didn't need to. All he did was rob himself of a signature, dominant win. Instead, he goes in the record books as the nutcracker.

Kovalev was ahead at the time of the stoppage in the second fight...Not sure how you viewed it like Wilder/Fury 2
