I'm just pleased to have done as well as I did, and thanks to Nick Ball for giving me an X5 underdog perfect pick. That was the easiest pick of the season for me.
Hitting draw at the end of the season would be killer
I was surprised that I missed 4 picks, to be honest. I knew about the last one, which complicated things.
All in all, very close game in all its aspects!

Clenelo any weight he wants to. Berlanga, what's stipulated and who knows what kind of weight in clauses.
Judges: Clenelo's 2 aunties and mom.

      Whatever.

I thought the original rules outlined a points-based system, not a percentage one. Given that this is a cash-reward contest, diligence to participate in as many pick ems as possible is in the best interest of the contestants. But if you're cool with the percentage metric, OK.

Not anymore, brother... The new owners totally ignored our requests to keep that tradition alive. We're playing for sheer glory now...

Not a surprise that I was 3rd for two consecutive times after the money disappeared

At least you second guessed... Instead I forgot to change my pick to draw for Hurd vs Rosario even after betting on it (and winning!).

The percentage doesn't play any other role in the game and of course under the Pick Em scoring system the more fights you pick on the more points you're likely to get. Used to use perfect picks as a secondary tiebreaker too but now that's been integrated into the scoring system
Of course. But who is responsible for that? If you dont pick...so be it....but the competition shouldnt be held responsible for that. Who is to say that whoever didnt pick would have gotten correct anyways? All you are doing is applying credit for failure to comply to the rules.

Maybe should be percentage of total possible rather than percentage of picks made then? Because choosing not to pick or forgetting is functionally the same as picking wrong in all other ways.

Imo it should be highest number of correct picks. If that is tied only then go to highest percentage. It's just easier all round.
