I said he could, not that he would.

I didn't mean to include Andre Ward, I don't think he could beat Ward, or Jones.

But he could definitely beat Toney, Froch and Calzaghe.

Would he? Another question. I'd pick him to beat Toney and Froch. Calzaghe he'd probably lose.

To suggest he would lose to Jeff Lacy, is, nothing short, of RETARDED, yes.

well since you want to get all technical about "could" or "would", I actually said that he "might" lose to Lacy, not that he absolutely "would".

Except there is no scenario where he "might" lose to Jeff Lacy, which is the point, as to why what you said is flat out retarded.

Jeff Lacy has zero wins over Top 10 ranked fighters, he failed to clearly beat the likes of Omar Sheika and for lack of a better term is terrible.

The idea of Canelo losing to Jeff Lacy is asinine. He wouldn't lose a second of any round.
        tokon tokon likes this.

In terms of the rest, Ottke who retired undefeated 34-0 and was a champion for 16 years is not on the list, but Chong-Pal Park is on the list???
ottke was a champion for 6 years. if he was for 16 years like you stated, he would be number 1 . park was nothing special though.
canelo is top10 without doubt. his resume at 168 is better than park's and benavidez'. there aren't 3 better boxers in this division's history not on this list (one can argue eubank and benn are missing but nobody else) to supplant canelo, benavidez and park.

              Blatant Benavidez-bias in this article.

I'm sure h2h, Nel o is quite high. Best Benny then Nel o is no1, dangle carrot in front of nelo. Of course if Nel o wins we can back track, using it as a ploy to get Nel o to fight

There is absolutely nothing to suggest that any version of Toney would "hurt the best version of Canelo badly". None. Zero.

Toney lost, drew and arguably lost to journeymen, in his prime years, multiple times.
Ah, Dan's back with his Toney-hate hahahaha

The overrating of past fighters is always humorous
