This is true. He looked and fought like the terminator before he got broken. Never had a lot of skill but he had enough to force Lara into a slugfest, and that was no mean feat.

If you do you'll see that every single week hundreds of fights are taking place in a dozen or more different countries. Such as the Dominican Republic.

At some point a good few years ago Rosario started his pro career on one of those cards. He fought his way up so that he gained a foothold on the USA fight cards and later became champion. A dream for him. This is the story of boxing and without it there would be no meaningful championship fights.
Came on to post that I'm looking forward to the fight, saw some comments and was going to respond but read your post and it was absolutely spot-on.

I've attended big-event PPV fights but I also go over to the local fight hall where you're lucky if there's a 10 rounder on the card or a fight between two guys with winning records. The latter event is what makes up about 95% of the world's boxing schedule and without that foundation you don't get the PPV big events.

Both of these guys have given alot of themselves in the ring for the benefit of the fans. I'm looking forward to watching them try to get back to relevance and both the fighters and fans are lucky to have a platform to watch it happen.

Props to Hurd and Rosario, I wish them luck and good health for the fight...they certainly deserve it.

Haven't been paying attention to it, but I caught one on YouTube from start to finish, not only the prelims.
Good to see FNF getting a WNF replacement, albeit every month.

As much as i do not care, i see the method to there madness. But it should be on FOX or something like that boxing has a lot of fights like this that could possibly draw folks into the fight game but not at a cost not at any cost people do not want to feel ripped off in boxng. So it goes and so it goes..............
it's free on YouTube and it's on proboxtv app with no commercials. it's like $2 month or something. I pay yearly. it's the best thing boxing wise I pay for. cards almost always entertaining. very little down time with talking heads in between fights and ends at like 9pm eastern. Great value. entertaining fights where the matches are tough etc etc.

Fighters who need exposure, go to Probox TV. You can't have money fights if casuals have barely heard of you.

Same with inactive fighters who genuinely wants to fight, but have a hard time getting or securing one.

I think this is the end of the road not just for the looser, but for the winner as well. They both had promise and they both fell of the edge of the cliff so quickly and so suddenly.

I watch these fights mainly on Youtube. I like the commentaries about current fights outside of the cards.
