Amid the layoffs and losses endured by Jarrett Hurd and Jeison Rosario were likely moments when they resisted, wrestled with, and realised the truth that boxing, for now, is what they were put on this earth to do. At some point on Wednesday night, during what promises to be a fascinating must-win brawl scheduled for 10 middleweight rounds, at least one will be forced to question their purpose and future all over again.

yea i hear you big for who and why ? i thought they were both older then they are but what 29 vs 32 or something like that. it is a set up to make a buck and try to make some noise and turn the first push into another fight for one or both. As much as i do not care, i see the method to there madness. But it should be on FOX or something like that boxing has a lot of fights like this that could possibly draw folks into the fight game but not at a cost not at any cost people do not want to feel ripped off in boxng. So it goes and so it goes..............

should be an interesting fight. I see couple dinosaurs on here needing it to be on a network or acting like this fight don't matter because thes 2 have losses. they aren't old fighters. they certainly are wanting to take this opportunity to turn their careers around. thanks to ProBox TV. and if yall get hate, remember it's the pbc dinosaurs and they really don't matter. that kind of fan is what turned ppl against pbc and what ran that business into the ground. another great thing about proboxtv is their start times and the flow of their cards. hats off to them.

So this is on ProboxTV not PBC. Isn't this on Amazon Prime also not only on You Tube?

For all of those criticizing this fight - sorry, you are just casuals. 99% of boxing fights are made up of non-championship fights. Have you ever scrolled through the schedule of BoxRec? If you do you'll see that every single week hundreds of fights are taking place in a dozen or more different countries. Such as the Dominican Republic.

At some point a good few years ago Rosario started his pro career on one of those cards. He fought his way up so that he gained a foothold on the USA fight cards and later became champion. A dream for him. This is the story of boxing and without it there would be no meaningful championship fights.

I think the criticism is mainly because Hurd has never looked the same since J Rock ruined him. That battle of attrition style has a short shelf life. He tried to adjust his fighting style. I'm watching it mainly out of curiosity. Who knows? I don't expect Hurd to win, but maybe he will surprise me.
