Canelo makes money off the purse, sponsors and all the money from his tv deal to show his fights in Mexico.
Fury made that for one fight he lost and won’t see that again. I’ll take the consistent $50-70 million paydays over a one hit wonder. I like Fury but he earns no where near Canelo’s career earnings. Not close.
Fury made 100 million dollars just off the usyk fight alone according to google from a few different sources, will most likely make more in the rematch if not the same. i'm pretty sure he has more money than canelo.

How much money did Crawford get for fighting Madrimov? These guys must understand that they are not global stars. Unless if it is for a heavyweight undisputed fight, Turki will not give you a huge money.
Canelo made more money in his career than fury. .

      I'll take that over "stardom"

That may not have made it into current earnings report, and he's still a hundred million less than Canelo even if you give him both purses, one of which he hasn't earned yet. Canelo has been ranked above Fury by a large margin on every earnings report for their whole careers. Maybe if he actually fought, but he sits out for years on a regular basis. And, after Usyk beats the crap out of him again, he'll have maybe one more fight ever (vs AJ) that's even in the neighborhood. Virtually all of his money will have come entirely from Turki. He's never been as consistent an earner as Canelo.

Maybe you need to learn how to google easily verifiable information lol

Canelo’s net worth is more than Fury’s, Joshua, and Crawford combined.

Fury made a $100 million because the Saudi’s don’t care about a profit as much as propaganda for their country. Also he didn’t take home that $100 million, educate yourself on the business of boxing.

The Harris Poll, boxing now ranks as the fourth most-popular sport in the United States, behind only football, baseball, and basketball. And ahead of MMA. Ahead of ice hockey. Ahead of soccer. Ahead of tennis. Ahead of golf.

                I am a CPA.

And who’s Fury fighting 3 times a year that the Saudi’s are paying him that for? That was a one time thing for a heavyweight unification in their country.

Canelo makes money on the purse guarantee, the gate, sponsors, and he makes all of the money to broadcast his fights in Mexico.

Fury got one huge payday. Canelo’s been cashing $50-75million checks twice a year for over a decade now.

Maybe educate yourself before you say some dumb **** in the future. Probably can’t help yourself.

Show me where Fury has "overspilled" to other Euro markets. I don't see Italy, Germany, France, and Russia having Fury on there mainstream sports networks on a weekly basis. Matter of fact, those other Euro markets aren't even holding any boxing events that are worthwhile...not even Russia who alongside the UK is the only other area producing relevant boxers.
I did say originally that obviously the US is king when it comes to the actual money side, because PPV and tickets are so expensive there.

I was talking in the sense of exposure and name recognition. If you're in Europe you are seeing and hearing about AJ, Fury and Usyk more than Canelo because of time zones, geographic proximity etc.

Its not really possible to objectively rank stuff like that because a lot of the time the business models are very apples to oranges. Hockey for example is obviously generating **** tons of money from ticket sales and ratings because of how many games they have, and from team merch as well, and the NHL brand is well known, but then boxing has more breakout stars that people know of.

I would agree that boxing is ahead of MMA right now but theres not much in it, they've been more or less on even footing in the US for like 15 years at this point. And lets face it, everything other than football, basketball, maybe to some extent baseball, is comparitively niche anyway. Try talking to a random person about Mbilli/Derevyanchenko or how how ****ed it is what happened to Leo Santa Cruz.
