Canelo is a clearly aging superstar and that’s who Crawford prefers. Look at Khan, Porter, Brook, Spence. Aging/damaged. He wanted Jermell only, of the two brothers, the weaker of the two.

Canelo looks like a low hanging fruit right now because he’s shown he’s aged and he’s not a huge SMW anyway. Crawford probably feels like he can do better than Jermell and Munguia, two former 154 fighters. Also, he probably just sees Canelo as a former 154-160 fighter rather than some big 168-175 fighter.

Bud’s career has been hurt by boxing leaving showtime and HBO and all big fights being on PPV again. Bud would have been a star in the 80s and 90s even without personality

That's Crawford's Resume. There is a reason he doesn't sell.

Bud just want huge pay day and ride into the sunset. Probably knows Canelo a tough one to climb. Turki man will now need to go pocket deep. Bud has spoken lol.

Bud about to retire then. He doesn't want Boots, Ortiz, Tim Tszyu. Turki wants big fights to promote Riyadh Seaons and Bud doesn't sell by himself.

Folks will say it's money - and maybe it is. On the other hand.. Crawford thinks himself as a legend. He's never been really hurt, in trouble, or behind in scorecards. He's looking for 'legacy' fights. Go back to 147? He KOd Porter and Spence.. two top dogs there. You have Boots, who hasn't really done anything. There's nobody at 154 with a name. maybe Tszyu? But he just lost. At 160, it's a barren wasteland.
              So then it's 168. At 168, there's Canelo.

That's how process of elimination works.

Not intending to make it race related, but if Crawford was not American and instead born in a different country his boring personality won't have meant crap to be a star. In America to become a star boxer you need social media followers more than actual boxing skills.

If he was Australian with his accomplishments he would be way more popular and sell better in Australia than Tszyu and Kambosos combined headlining soldout Arenas at Melbourne and Sydney and whatever, and will be dignified as the best Australian boxer ever. If he was born in the UK with same accomplishments, I'd assume that he would be a Wembley staple too.

If he was Japanese (obviously not at his size but with similar accomplishment at a lighter weight divisions) he'd be what Inoue is prior to Inoue becoming Inoue in Japan. Inoue is by no means an exciting personality in terms of social media and his interviews are rather bland to say it nicely, but he has the whole country following him. Ioka who is even more boring than Inoue and Crawford personality and fight style wise and not undefeated still had an annual NYE TV fight card that was aired in the whole country on national TV channel.

Bud just has stuepid face and bad haircut. He doesn't sell and fought only compromised fighters. It is what it is.

Bud doesn’t owe anyone anything. He can do and say what he wants. He’ll fight who he wants and you’ll all watch and then he’ll retire go into the HOF and you’ll tell your grandkids you go to watch greatness. Period.

Why doesn't Mr Turki just trow a LOAD on Crawford so he can retire comfortably instead of Begging Canelo.
Why do Turki and Crawford need Canelo if Crawford is supposedly the best boxer in the world and Turki is Loaded with money?
I don't get it either. Bud has been straight forward about wanting to fight Ginger because fighting Ginger pays the most. Turki loves Bud and has unlimited funds. Why doesn't Turki offer Bud the same amount of money he'd make fighting Ginger to fight Ortiz or anyone else????
