Both Tyson Fury and Canelo Alvarez have both popped dirty for banned steroid substances: (Nandrolone and Clenbuterol).

In addition, they both used the cross contamination excuse. Tyson Fury’s blamed his dirty testing on ingesting Wild boar meat.

While Saul Alvarez blamed his dirty testing on eating contaminated beef.

Canelo is the A side in these money fights. Bud can’t draw flies to **** but realizes time is running out and people don’t give AF about him. He’s a great fighter but his resume means he will be quickly forgotten outside of the hardcore fans on NSB. No notable moments.

Let’s be real here though. Crawford doesn’t care if he can win or lose a Canelo fight. He knows that 0 doesn’t mean much when he has the weakest resume of any top P4P fighter I can remember.

Reality is hitting him. It wasn’t Arum and Top Rank holding him back, it was his lack of activity, ambition, and charisma that held him back.

Canelo is making plenty of dough fighting the Mungia's and Berlanga's of the world. What is the incentive to fight Crawford? What weight would it be? At 168, it's a mismatch. If Crawford easily destroyed Madrimov, it would have been one thing but he struggled and Madrimov is no Canelo. Not as this stage of his career, anyway. I am a big Crawford Guy but 168 is too high of a mountain to climb.
