Lol I hope Haney gets in the ring with Boots and soon. I would actually buy that ppv just to watch him get exposed again and I'm dying to watch the crowd reaction when they announce his "record" before the fight as undefeated. Boots will absolutely beat the breaks off of Haney.Comment

Ennis would beat the sh_t outta Haney what are you guys talking about or doing, he struggled with the little druggie Mexican kid and even on drugs the Mexican would be destroyed by Ennis. Who the hell make up these headlines? Haney not even the best 140 pounder and now y'all trying to push him towards retirement and that's what will happen let him try 147 without being able to punch.Comment

Haney isn’t fighting Boots. Bill is too smart to make that fight.
Mario Barrios is one of the weakest belt holders in all of boxing and an easy win. Team Haney loves that fight guaranteed, call himself a three division belt holder, and then a Garcia rematch.
I’m not hating, they’re legit smart.Comment

I think all these guys could self promote and get more interest. But they have to make a "Paul Brother" type effort.
One thing is for sure: haney already caught an a s s whippin that he could sell for a second fight with Cryin... I cannot see any reason that is sane for him to be decapitated by a real killa like Boots Innis. Maybe he thinks if he weighs in at 160 pounds it will help him lol...Comment

This kid has already been exposed even before Garcia, he struggled against old man Linares and Gamboa. Boots would knock him into oblivion...Comment

I do not hate Boots. I really like him. I think he is all you are saying and maybe even more. I am just saying that at this stage in his career he is not very popular outside of the hard core boxing fans and therefore, he does not sell tickets. Maybe because he has not fought anyone of note yet and does not have a big scalp on his resume.Comment

Haney vs Ennis is very unlikely to happen in this day and age. Ennis will take it, of course.
Real question is who might be Haney's next opponent to guarantee a win? Losing again can't be an option. Taking a tuneup won't guarantee huge cash either, which he demands. Unless Turki gives him a charity fight with Haney being a ******.Comment

Well, neither does Crawford. His PPV fights with Khan sold 150k and the Porter fight did 135k so Haney vs Boots could do no worse.

Prior to Madrimov fighting Crawford, had you heard of him? How many people in the US and boxing world knew of him? More important, do you believe Madrimov is a bigger name than Boors?
Which “big scalp” did Madrimov have in his resume to earn a shot at Crawford? And how many tickets does he sell without Crawford?
Be honest!
