Haney doesn’t sell, he needs a great selling partner and Boots unfortunately it’s not it! Haney is making a big mistake coming to fight at welterweight. Garcia took that spark from him, with or without PEDs Garcia was too strong for him. Or did Garcia’s PEDs affected Haney to fight and perform the way he did?

I don't think that it's hate , people just aren't familiar with Boots. If boxing fans hate him it's probably because he's a threat to their favorite fighter ,Crawford, and they can't have that.

Fans are funny like that! Why does Ryan Garcia get more love than David Benavidez? Why is Berlanga light years ahead of Shu-Shu Carrington? Why did Broner have a bigger fan base than Crawford?

Welterweight is a barren wasteland, to borrow a worn out phrase, and it's ripe for anyone to shine in. Haney's size and build is fit for the the division and there's no sense in starving himself just to fight at 140.

The current division to watch is 154. It's deep and it's full of fighters with all shapes and sizes and in all levels.
